The Balathandayuthapani Temple, officially the Arulmigu Balathandayuthabani Devasthanam, better known as the Waterfall Hill Top Temple or "Thaneer Malai Kovil" (Tamil: அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீ பாலதண்டாயுதபாணி தேவஸ்தானம்) by locals, is a temple complex located in near Botanical Garden, George Town, Penang. The main deity of this temple is Balathandayuthabani. Visitors need to climb 513 stairs to reach the te

mple. The hilltop temple, with its seven-storey 21.6m-tall gopuram (main tower), has been touted as the largest Lord Murugan hilltop temple outside India.
