We are happy to host parishioners from St Michael Alor Setar at MASC. This morning they celebrated a morning mass at Church of St Francis Xavier. Breakfast at our canteen before they move on for their journey. God bless their fellowship!

If you have groups who need a place to stay, Whatsapp us. We provide usage of dormitories and conference rooms for Christian activities. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus sent out the 72. Guess how many beds we have in our dormitory? 🤩

Back to school vibes in the canteen where large groups can have their meals.

We just equipped the canteen with plates, cups and cutleries. Less single use plastic please. Get your caterer to provide plates or use ours. Catering is cheaper too without plastic boxes

A huge fridge and a showroom sofa are part of the comforts for retreatants who stay at MASC.

For those coming for seminars and formations, they have the use of the canteen on the ground floor too.

Bring your own coffee and tea and enjoy the quiet time. Our few house rules are please don't make too much noise as there are retreatants who are on silent retreat/prayers, clear all food leftovers by throwing them at the main bin near the big tree by the grotto, clean up like you would for your home. We are like the Air Asia. No frills to keep donation low. 😅

Why stay at MASC?

Because you have a large church grounds to have some solitude.

A grotto to say your rosary if you are a Catholic. In the cool mornings and late afternoon, sitting by the grotto is lovely.

A church for daily mass on Mon-Wed at 1230noon. On Sundays at 6pm.

And when you are hungry, there is lots of Penang food outside within walking distance.

Finding God in the city is possible.
