Let us pray together with Pope Francis for our young people who are currently in Lisbon, Portugal!

In the recent interview with Pope Francis on WYD 2023 by Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network, a question was asked:

What is your hope for WYD in Lisbon?

"In Lisbon, I would like to see a seed for the world’s future. A world where love is at the center, where we can sense that we are sisters and brothers. We are at war; we need something else. A world that is not afraid of witnessing to the Gospel. A joyful world – because if we Christians have no joy, we are not credible, no one will believe us."

"Let us pray that the World Youth Day in Lisbon will help young people to live and witness the Gospel in their own lives."

'From Me to You ~ Prayers from the Heart' is an initiative of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit to compile a collection of personal prayers composed by parishioners for parishioners. This Prayer Book will be published in three languages, English, Chinese and Tamil.

Shalom! Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

CHS Parish Pastoral Assembly will take place on Sunday, 20 August 2023, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. The parish would like to encourage all parishioners to participate in the Assembly, for us to journey together towards the Synod. We particularly request for all ministry members, especially the coordinators and core team members to give priority and set aside the above date for the Assembly.
