31/05 — Devotees and various temple sections came together to set up food distribution stalls in the spirit of dāna. The day was further blessed with chanting and prayers, as devotees gathered in faith and devotion to commemorate this sacred occasion.

This year’s Vesak float depicts the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta, commemorating the Buddha’s first sermon at Deer Park, where The Buddha set in motion the Wheel of Dhamma through the teaching of the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path.

May this Vesak inspire us to walk the Noble Path with wisdom and compassion.
