新的一天,神还保留我们一丝气息,能够睁开眼睛,我们说哈利路亚;神赏赐健康,一日三餐,我们说哈利路亚;
疾病得医治,患难得保守,我们说哈利路亚;

“Hallelujah” is a very familiar word. Whether in people’s conversations, on the internet, or even in many songs, this word appears often. In most people’s understanding, “hallelujah” is commonly seen as a religious expression. But let us think about a question together: can everyone truly say “hallelujah”?

In fact, the word “hallelujah” comes from Hebrew, and it is made up of two parts: “Hallelu,” meaning “praise,” and “Yah,” which is the shortened form of the Hebrew name for God, “Yahweh” (Jehovah). So when we say “hallelujah,” we are not shouting an empty slogan, but specifically praising the one true God by name. Its object is clear: it does not refer to just any deity, but to Jehovah, the Creator of heaven and earth and the One who saves us.

Therefore, in our daily lives, “hallelujah” can be used in every circumstance.

When a new day begins and God still preserves our breath, allowing us to open our eyes, we say, “Hallelujah.”

When God grants us health and our daily meals, we say, “Hallelujah.”

When sickness is healed and we are protected during trials, we say, “Hallelujah.”

When God watches over us throughout the day and we give thanks before sleep, we also say, “Hallelujah.”

Clearly, this word has never been a casual exclamation spoken lightly, but rather a heartfelt praise and worship offered sincerely to God.

So, returning to the original question: can everyone say “hallelujah”? When we truly understand the weight of this word, perhaps we will realize that the real issue is not whether we are able to say it, but whether, when we say it, we genuinely know and sincerely praise the God whom we proclaim with our lips.

“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

These words are not merely a family slogan,
nor are they simply words of blessing.

Rather, they were the choice of a man
who had personally experienced God.

Joshua had experienced the grace of God’s presence firsthand, and had witnessed both His righteousness and His judgment.

Therefore, as the head of his household,
he understood his responsibility before God —
to ensure that God remained the true Lord of his home.

For only when the whole family fears and serves God together can they walk in the way of salvation.

Building a God-centered family does not happen overnight, but is the result of careful nurturing and continual spiritual cultivation, so that the whole household may walk together in the way of the Lord.

"Washed by water, renewed by spirit"

With the guidance of God, we had conducted a combined water baptism with Cheras church on 4th April. There were 3 truth seekers from BMC church and one truth seeker from Cheras church baptized.

Water baptism is not only a simple ritual, but it brings crucial spiritual significance and it is directly related to one’s salvation. May we remember the love and grace of God during every water baptism, and also be reminded of the importance of evangelism to save more souls from the bo***ge of sins

People often long for the past when the present feels difficult, believing that the former days were somehow better. Looking back, those moments seem warmer, easier, and simpler. Yet Ecclesiastes reminds us: “Do not say, ‘Why were the former days better than these?’” Many times, it is not that the past was truly better. We have simply forgotten the struggles and remembered only the beautiful parts. In truth, every season carries its own meaning, and every experience quietly shapes who we are today.

True wisdom is not found in sighing over the past, but in trusting God in the present. The road today may not feel as easy as before, but God has never left us. He works in every season of life, even in ways we cannot see, gently shaping our journey step by step. Instead of longing for what has passed, we learn to cherish the day God has given us now because His grace is always unfolding in the present.

“way” can refer to the path we take to reach a destination, or the way we pursue certain outcomes in life. So whether we are traveling or trying to earn more money, we are constantly searching for a way forward every day. Yet every path we choose is filled with uncertainty. We may encounter surprises, but also disappointment—even failure.

However, there is one way where we will not be disappointed. Instead, it brings joy and peace, and even a hope of eternal life beyond what we have ever imagined. Since this path concerns something as significant as eternal life, shouldn’t we take some time to understand it?

We warmly invite you this coming Saturday at 2:30 PM as we introduce this path to you. In addition to a message sharing, our choir will also present songs that reflect this way of grace. We also welcome you to share your thoughts on religion and life.

This verse does not mean pretending the past never happened,
but rather a call not to remain bound by it.

It is easy for the heart to dwell on what is behind—
mistakes made, opportunities lost, and failures endured—
until they hinder us from moving forward.

Yet the Scripture reminds us:
do not let the past define the course of your present.

What is behind may teach and shape you,
but it need not hold you back.

🌿 Life is not meant to be lived looking backward,
but pressing onward toward what lies ahead

What role does God play in our lives?

For some, God may seem like a distant and unreachable being; for others, He may feel like a close and personal friend. But in reality, through the firsthand experiences of the ancient saints, the answer has already been shown to us.

God is near to us, only a heartbeat away.As long as we are willing to open our hearts to Him, He will become our everything.

祂是道路,所以我们永不迷失;
祂是真理,所以我们永不动摇;

Throughout our life journey, We walk through life meeting crossroads and often fear that a misstep might lead to utter failure.

Yet John 14:6 tells us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

There is a path that, once taken, is accompanied by grace and blessings for a lifetime.
He is the way, so we shall never lose our direction;
He is the truth, so we shall never be shaken;
He is the life, so we shall never wither.

Rain may fall on this journey, but peace rides the storm; sorrow may visit, but hope lingers in every tear. For this path we walk leads not to fleeting sights, but to an everlasting promise.

Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He commanded His disciples: "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

This was not only a calling for the apostles, but a mission that every follower of Christ ought to carry today.

The footsteps of those who share the gospel may fall on city streets, in offices, or among family and friends. As long as we are willing to speak up and willing to live out the love of the Lord, those footsteps are the most beautiful in the eyes of God.

May we all remember the command of the Lord Jesus, never forgetting the grace that saved us, and continue to be a faithful witness for Him.
