Northern Regional Assembly 2026

The Northern Regional Assembly 2026 was held at St. Mark’s Church Butterworth on 8 August 2026.

The Assembly was graciously chaired by the Diocesan Bishop, together with the Diocesan Officers and Archdeacons. It was a meaningful time of fellowship, reflection, and strengthening our shared commitment to the mission and ministry of our Diocese in the Northern region.

🌸 Confirmation Sunday – 9 August 2026 🌸

We give thanks to God for a blessed and memorable Confirmation Sunday, as our confirmands publicly affirmed their faith and commitment to follow Jesus Christ.

It was a joyful and sacred occasion, witnessing young hearts take an important step in their spiritual journey, declaring that they choose to walk with the Lord in faith, hope, and love. May this be the beginning of a deeper and lifelong relationship with Christ.

May God continue to strengthen, guide, and bless all our confirmands, their families, pastors, and everyone who supported them in this journey of faith. ❤️🙏

🌸 Sunday School Sunday – 2 August 2026 🌸

We give thanks to God for a joyful and blessed Sunday School Sunday, as our church children took the lead in worship and served the Lord with joy.

It was a beautiful reminder that our children are not only the future of the Church—they are part of the Church today. May we continue to nurture, encourage, and guide them in their faith as they grow in Christ.

Our Praise & Worship Seminar & Workshop, led by Pastor Simon Fernandes (Iraiva Malaysia), was held on 25th April 2026 from 9.00AM to 3.00PM.

The day concluded with a beautiful session of non-stop Praise & Worship led by Pastor Simon and his team. It was truly moving and a great blessing to everyone present.

We thank you, Pastor, for ministering to us and for guiding us deeper into worship. St. Mark’s Church Butterworth prays for God’s continued blessings upon you, your family, and your ministry.

Ride on, ride on—our Saviour Jesus is coming!

By God’s grace, we celebrated a blessed Palm Sunday Service, joining together in a joyful 1KM procession around the church, proclaiming His love to the community around us.

We are truly grateful to RELA and the Butterworth Police Department for their support and assistance in making this meaningful celebration possible.

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! 🙌

At 6:00am this morning, we gathered in God’s presence for our Easter Vigil, celebrating His victory on the Cross. The church was filled with joy as His people came together to rejoice in His love and the salvation He has given to all humanity.

We also said goodbye to Revd. Noel Nickson as he moves on to serve in another parish. We thank God for his time with us and pray for His continued blessings, guidance, and anointing upon him in this new chapter.

Yesterday, 31st January 2026, we gathered for our Fasting & Prayer Day from 6.00pm to 9.15pm. It was a precious and Spirit-led time in the presence of the Lord.

We lifted our voices in praise and worship for more than an hour, giving glory to God. We also listened to His Word, reflecting on Hannah’s heartfelt prayer and God’s calling of Samuel — a beautiful reminder that God hears sincere prayers and calls each of us for His purpose.

We were then led into a meaningful time of intercession, bringing many needs before the Lord. Truly, God’s Spirit moved among us, and we experienced His presence and peace in a special way.

All glory to God for what He has done and continues to do in our midst. 🙏
