Our Pastor:
Pr. Dr. NG Teng Huat is the Founding and Senior Pastor of Sungai Ara Christian Centre, Penang, Malaysia. He has a Doctor of Ministry (Pastoral Leadership) and a Master of Divinity degree from the Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary, Penang, Malaysia. He was a bivocational pastor for more than twenty three years. While serving as an elder and pastor, he also worked in various management positions in Intel Corporation's site in Penang. He integrates and balances his expertise as a bivocational founding pastor of a local church, his expertise from the corporate world, and his doctoral training from the seminary, into his pastoral, teaching, consulting, and writing ministry.

Sungai Ara Christian Centre (SACC) is organizing a community event, ๐‚๐€๐‘๐„๐„๐‘ ๐ƒ๐ˆ๐’๐‚๐Ž๐•๐„๐‘๐˜ ๐ƒ๐€๐˜ in conjunction with Labor Day, and dedicated to children aged 4 to 12 from the Sungai Ara / Bayan Lepas area.

We are pleased to collaborate with Yang Berhormat Dato Dr. Mohamad Bin Abdul Hamid, the ADUN for Batu Maung, who has been invited to officiate the program.

This initiative is designed to introduce children to various professions, encourage early discussions regarding their future ambitions, and strengthen community relationships within Bayan Lepas.

๐„๐•๐„๐๐“ ๐€๐‚๐“๐ˆ๐•๐ˆ๐“๐ˆ๐„๐’
The half-day program will feature several interactive sessions to foster creativity and learning:

๐€ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ซ ๐‚๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐๐ž: children come dressed in their preferred professionโ€™s costume; this participation is optional for those interested.

๐€ ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ: categorized by age groups 4-6 years, 7-9 years, and 10-12 years. Participants need to come with their own coloring set (color pencils and crayons only. No water colors).

Participants in the coloring contest will have the opportunity to win the following sponsored prizes for each age group:

1st Place: BMX Bicycle
2nd Place: Stationery and Coloring Set
