Tutor: Ven. Wimalagnana Mahathero

Introduction:-
Venerable Wagadapola Wimalagnana thero ordained 37 years ago and has received his higher ordination as a monk 33 years ago when living at Na Uyana Forest Monastery near Pansiyagama Village (which is part of the Galduwa tradition). He understands the Buddha's teachings very well and teaches them in an engaging and lively manner with a sense of humour. He is also welcoming, generous and helpful, which are the main ingredients that have contributed to the success of the Hermitages today.

In 2011, Venerable W. Wimalagnana visited Australia for the first time and encountered a keen interest in the Buddha's teachings and the Group of Hermitages he had founded. Since then, he has been invited to visit Australia annually to conduct retreats, and to give Dhamma talks and to lead Dhamma discussion sessions.

导师简介：
尊者 Wagadapola Wimalagnana 大长老出家至今已有 37年，并于 33年前受具足戒成为比丘。当时他居住在 Pansiyagama 村附近的龙树林森林寺院（Na Uyana Forest Monastery），该寺院属于 Galduwa 传统。
尊者对佛陀的教法有非常深入的理解，并以生动、有趣、引人入胜的方式弘扬佛法，同时也带有幽默感。他待人亲切、乐于接纳他人，慷慨并且乐于助人。这些特质，也正是促成如今一夜贤者禅院能够发展与成功的重要因素。
2011年，W. Wimalagnana 尊者首次访问澳洲。当时，他发现当地人士对佛陀的教法，以及他所创立的联署禅院 - Bhaddeka Vihara Padanama 抱有浓厚的兴趣。
从那以后，他每年都会受邀前往澳州，主持禅修营、开示佛法，以及带领佛法讨论会。

【即将来临的托钵活动16 August 2026 星期日】

‼️**供养者注意事项**‼️‼️

对于律藏所记载,由于比丘不能收藏食物过午,

如有发心布施者当中有欲布施以下物资：
1. 生米
2. 生豆
3.未煮的干粮

都由身旁的“净人” 代接收貯存在禅院的食仓，待厨房负责人安排煮熟后再供养于僧团。

地点 ： 龙华山庄大道

贵院理事会将于*16/08/2026*早上8:30am 开始，盛邀禅院大约13位僧众们莅临*龙华山庄大道*进行托钵活动，与大众结缘。

*托钵*的僧人犹如走动的福田，许多智者懂得把握机会在无上的福田耕耘播种，藉此善行累积福德与菩提道的资粮，给自己的未来种下幸福与快乐的种子。

您可供养熟食物、日常用品、药物或如法资具给出家众。布施时应注意的几个事项如下：

1、不要供養金錢；
2、鉴于严守戒律，女勻不要碰到出家人.
3、施者可以依照自己的喜好來供養一些主食或副食品。
4、供養時盡可能脫掉鞋子（以尊敬上座部比丘也是赤腳托鉢）。
5、由于比丘不能收藏食物过午，尽量供养熟米饭，熟菜，水果，药物，以及日常用品。

💗 愿各位贤友，在布施前，中，后以智慧和喜悦心完成供养，累积殊胜的功德。

‼️‼️Gentle Remind：‼️‼️
According to the “Vinaya Pitaka” rules, Bhikkus are forbidden to keep food after the noon time.

Any layman who wishes to offer
1. raw grains
2. raw beans/ nuts
3. uncooked dry ingredients

are advised to hand over the uncooked or raw items to the “kappiyas” and keep in the warehouse or stores of the monastery. These items will be cooked and offered to the sangha.

【Upcoming Piṇḍācāra Activity】

Date : 16/08/ 2026 Sunday
Time : Start from 8:30am

The lay committee are invite approximately 13 Monastics from Bhaddekaratta Hermitage carry on Piṇḍācāra at Taman Bukit Perdana Batu Pahat on dated 16/8/2026 (Sun). It is a good opportunity for devotees to offer food and allowable requisites to Monastics.

While do “Dana” , the following issues should be highlighted:

1. Offering Money are not allow.
2. No body touch with Monks especially for female.
3. Dhamma friends can be offering with their wish, meat or vegetables dish are allowed.
4. While in dana, please strip off the shoes and pay respect to train modest and respect behaviour.
5. Due to the pantimoca rules of monks life, not allow to keep the food after 1pm , so It is better offering in rice 🍚 , fruits medicine and necessities.

💕 Generosity associated with wisdom and joy before, during and after the act is the highest type of giving.
🌻 May this merit be a supportive condition for the realization of Nibbāna. Nibbānassa Paccaya Hotu!
