On Wednesday morning (26 August), catastrophic flash floods triggered by a glacial collapse devastated Nepal's northern Rasuwa district, sweeping away roads, bridges, and power infrastructure.

As of Thursday (27 August), at least 165 people have died and over 1,300 remain missing. Fifty-five Malaysians are currently uncontactable due to severed communication networks. Wisma Putra reports no confirmed Malaysian fatalities and has opened a Putrajaya operations centre alongside active rescue efforts. Rescuers are racing to find survivors while authorities warn of potential secondary floods.

Mass was beautifully celebrated by Rev. Fr. Vincent, with the liturgy prayerfully animated by our Legion of Mary prayer group.

It was a blessed occasion for our community to come together in prayer, giving thanks for Mary’s loving intercession and reflecting on her unwavering faith and devotion to God.

🙏 A Blessed Pilgrimage Visit to Chapel of Christ The King 🙏

Today, we were truly blessed to welcome around 25 pilgrims from various parishes in Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur to our Chapel as they made their pilgrimage visit here.

It was a beautiful time of prayer, fellowship and faith. Rev. Fr. Peter warmly welcomed the pilgrims and celebrated Mass with them, making their visit even more meaningful.

After Mass, the pilgrims spent some time with our parishioners, sharing a meal together and enjoying a wonderful moment of fellowship.We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of their pilgrimage journey and to have shared this special day with them.

May God bless all the pilgrims as they continue their journey, and may their pilgrimage be filled with faith, peace and many blessings. 🙏✨

A Heartfelt Farewell to Rev. Fr. Anthony Robert

Today, our Chapel of Christ the King community gathered to celebrate the final Holy Mass of our beloved , Rev. Fr. Anthony Robert.

While it is never easy to say goodbye, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the one year that God blessed us with his presence. Through his humble service, caring heart, inspiring homilies, and faithful ministry, Fr. Anthony has touched the lives of many within our chapel community.

As he embarks on a new chapter of his priestly ministry at Church of St John Marie Vianney,Tampin ,we send him forth with our love, prayers, and best wishes. Though his journey now leads him elsewhere, he will always remain a part of the Chapel of Christ the King family.

May the Lord continue to bless, protect, and guide you as you faithfully serve His people.

From all of us at the Chapel of Christ the King, thank you, Fr. Robert. We will forever be grateful, and we will miss you dearly. God bless you always. ❤️🙏

As we bid farewell to our beloved Priest, Rev. Fr. Anthony Robert, we give thanks to God for the beautiful year he spent with us at the Chapel of Christ the King.
