You come to church. You sit down. You listen. You sing. Then you leave. 😅😅😅

‼️But what did you actually do?‼️

Someone cleaned the church while you watched.

Someone taught the children while you sat.

Someone sang in the choir while you listened.

Someone arranged the chairs while you took one.

Someone prepared the food while you ate.

Someone welcomed people while you walked past.

‼️You were present, but you were not participating.📣

📖 1 Corinthians 3:9 kjv
“For we are labourers together with God.”

📌 The church does not need more people warming seats. It needs believers willing to work.

📖 Romans 12:11 kjv
“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.”

✅ You do not need a microphone to serve.

✅ You do not need a title to serve.

✅ You do not need a position to serve.

Sometimes serving God looks like:
👉a broom in your hand,
👉a child in front of you,
👉a chair you are carrying,
👉a meal you are preparing, or
👉a stranger you are welcoming.

📖 Colossians 3:23 kjv
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

⛔ So stop asking,
“What can the church do for me?”

👍 Start asking,
“What can I do for the Lord?”

DON’T JUST ATTEND CHURCH. BE PART OF THE WORK

A full church building means nothing if everyone is waiting for someone else to serve.

YOUR PRESENCE IS NOT THE SAME AS YOUR PARTICIPATION.‼️

STOP WARMING THE SEAT. START SERVING THE LORD.‼️

People often talk about church trauma, and it’s real. But we rarely talk about the trauma people inflict on leaders. Many leaders have had to seek counseling, spend countless hours in prayer, and fight through deep emotional wounds just to keep walking in the assignment God gave them. Not because of the call—but because of the hurt, betrayal, criticism, and attacks they endured while serving. That conversation deserves space too.
