This morning, we successfully installed the complete Tripitaka texts in the cabinet. We rejoice in this wholesome achievement and dedicate the merits to the continued flourishing of the Buddha’s Dispensation.

May the Dhamma continue to shine brightly, guiding us with wisdom, compassion, and right livelihood. May its timeless teachings inspire countless hearts and bring peace, understanding, and liberation to all who encounter them.

‘Asalhabhuja Day’ marks the day when the first sermon of Lord Buddha was delivered to his first five disciples. Kondanna became the first Buddhist monk, after having completing the Triple Gem of Buddhism, the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha. Lord Buddha then delivered what is known as the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta which revolves around the Four Noble Truths: suffering, the cause of suffering, the end of suffering, and the way to end suffering.
Asalha Puja Day falls on the full moon day of the sixth lunar month on the 29th July 2026 (Thursday).
This day is also the eve of the 3 months Phansa period (rain-retreat). Sangha members would observe a strict Vinaya laid by the Buddha some 2569 years ago.
Devotees are encouraged to offer requisites and Phansa candles to the Sangha during the Phansa period.
All are welcome to be part of this annual Buddhist celebration and may the blessings of the Triple Gem be with you and your family always.

【三宝佛节】南传佛教信徒相信其为释迦牟尼佛第一次弘法的日子，且当天五位听讲道的追随者中就有一位悟道，请求佛祖收为门徒成僧，也是佛教最重要传递佛法的三要素 [佛、法 、僧 ] 皆到位的重要日子。
向五位贤者传达四圣谛, 包含苦谛、集谛、灭谛、道谛。
五人有所顿悟，请求成为佛陀第一批弟子，也是五比丘僧的由来。
(雨季安居将于2026年 7月 30日开始 )
泰佛寺一年一度为期三个月的结夏安居将禁止比丘们离开佛寺， 除非大众有急事求教于他们。
在这三个月里的雨季,僧人必须在庙里共修，诵经及修禅。
佛陀为众僧建立僧团，信徒们可布施（熟食）于僧伽。
通过布施活动, 信徒们可从僧人圣洁的德行或精进中获取
功德，也顺道回向功德于已往生的亲人和祖先。
此外在这期间，信徒们可供Phansa 蜡烛。
（每 一 份 RM 50.00 元。）
