Penang Sai Home

Penang Sai Home Welcome to Penang Sai Home, where we gather for prayer sessions on Thursdays at 7.30pm. We look forward to welcoming you!

We are also committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to drive positive change with Swami's grace. Penang Sai Home is a dedicated place of worship dedicated to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, known as 'Swami'. Born on November 23, 1926, in Puttaparthi, India, Swami's profound teachings revolve around five fundamental principles: Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanthi (Peace), Prema

(Love), and Ahimsa (Non-Violence). His timeless quotes, such as "There is one religion, the religion of love," resonate deeply in us. In honouring Swami's legacy and teachings, Penang Sai Home has embraced the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2024. These SDGs encompass vital areas such as ending poverty, promoting gender equality, and combating climate change. By incorporating the SDGs into our practices, we aspire to create positive changes within our community and beyond. The significance of the SDGs lies in their potential to address pressing global challenges and improve the well-being of all beings. Through collective action and commitment, we can contribute to building a more sustainable and peaceful world. Each SDG represents an opportunity for us to make a meaningful impact and leave a lasting legacy of compassion and progress. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported Penang Sai Home and contributed to its continued existence. Your unwavering dedication and generosity have ensured that our place of worship remains a beacon of spiritual nourishment and service to humanity. Together, let us continue to uphold Swami's teachings and work towards a brighter, more inclusive future for all.

🎶 We Are the World 🎶
Originally written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie in 1985, We Are the World was created to bring people together through music in support of humanitarian aid and global unity🌏. Decades later, its message continues to resonate strongly across communities and generations.

It was the perfect finale to conclude the convention carrying a simple yet powerful message, reflecting the spirit of unity, compassion and working together beyond backgrounds and centres.

Such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the hall. Seeing so many participants from various centres (Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre Of Penang, Saibabacentre Gelugor, Brown Garden, NED & Sungai Nibong) in Malaysia come together made this truly memorable. From those on stage to everyone on the floor singing along, engaging and enjoying the moment together, it was unity at its very best. ❤️

🎶 Madhura Mohana Ghana Shyama 🎶

A beautiful Telugu devotional song lovingly offered to Swami during the 1st Joint Tamil & Chinese Sai Convention 2026. This is one of those rare bhajans where devotion feels truly alive.

It is often said that whenever this song was sung before Swami, He would gently express the meaning of the lyrics through His smile, gestures and divine playfulness, responding so lovingly to the sincere devotion of devotees.

As you listen to this offering, may we all feel His presence, love and compassion within and around us. 🙏

As we reflect on last week’s convention, we would like to thank everyone who participated so actively throughout the sessions. It was encouraging to witness the openness, engagement and meaningful sharing of ideas across the discussions.

We hope participants were able to take away valuable insights and practical ideas to continue serving and strengthening their own communities.

A heartfelt thank you as well to the Penang state centres, speakers and everyone working behind the scenes who contributed towards the success of the convention. The grand finale with We Are the World was a particularly special moment, beautifully reflecting the unity and collaboration between Brown Garden, Sungai Nibong, NED, Gelugor and Penang Centre.

Most importantly, it was inspiring to witness the unity, patience, love and willingness to learn from one another across different centres and states in Malaysia. These are the moments that make gatherings like this truly meaningful.

Thank you once again for your presence, contributions and the wonderful spirit you brought to the convention. 🙏

It was a real pleasure to have Bro Krishnamoorthy accompanied by the three siblings from Brown Garden Centre visit us tonight.

We shared a simple evening together over dinner, plenty of laughter, and of course, durians — a first experience for him, which made it all the more memorable.

We truly enjoyed his company, especially listening to the meaningful experiences he shared with Swami. Moments like these remind us how powerful it is to come together, connect and learn from one another.

Grateful for the time spent and the warmth shared. ❤️🤗🙏🏻

It was such a wonderful atmosphere at the Gelugor Centre Open House last Friday. The energy, the warmth and the togetherness in the hall really made it a special one. We are also grateful for the opportunity to perform the Chinese New Year songs as part of the collaboration🪭🐎. Moments like this truly reflect unity in diversity; different voices, different backgrounds, coming together in harmony - what a beautiful & wholesome experience🤩.

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Chap Goh Meh (15th Day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar for the new year). May the year ahead be filled with joy, good health and meaningful connections. 🧧✨🎇

Another exceptional event this year for all of us. Friends and family coming together to celebrate Chinese New Year is indeed something really special. We had friends from Brown Garden and Gelugor, and this year, a representative from the Petaling Jaya Centre joined us for this joyous occasion.

After the opening, we started with Bhajans and then had dinner together. Prior to that, we had the lou sang ceremony, which symbolises good luck, health and prosperity. A variety of cultural activities were offered, including Chinese calligraphy, tea making and tasting, origami, karaoke and Chinese chess, finishing off with a Chinese zodiac signs team challenge. It truly is a blessing to live in a multiracial and multicultural country.

Chinese New Year songs were sung, red packets were distributed to all, and the session ended with the lighting of firecrackers. What a fantastic start to the year!
