Happy Birthday, Mama Mary!

The Church celebrates the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a joyful reminder of God’s plan of salvation. Mary’s birth prepared the way for the coming of Christ, our Savior. Just as the dawn precedes the rising sun, Mary’s life is the dawn that announces Jesus, the true Light of the world.

On her birthday, we remember her humility, obedience, and unconditional love. She is not only the Mother of Jesus but also our spiritual mother, given to us at the foot of the Cross. Her presence in our lives is a gift that strengthens our faith and draws us closer to her Son.

Celebrating Mama Mary’s birthday is not just about honoring her—it is about deepening our trust in God’s love, learning from her “yes,” and allowing her maternal care to guide us daily.

Prayer to Mama Mary on Her Birthday

Heavenly Mother,
On this special day of your birth, we lift our hearts in gratitude.
You are the dawn that brought forth the Light of the world,
the humble handmaid who became the Mother of God.

Teach us to live with faith, humility, and love,
to say “yes” to God’s will as you did.
Intercede for us, your children,
that we may grow in holiness and courage,
always walking the path that leads to your Son, Jesus.
