Ampang Gospel Centre started off with Sunday School activities in one of the resident's home in 1970 with occassional helpers from Jalan Imbi Chapel. This attracted more and more people around the neighborhood, and it officially started in 1973. Formerly located at 28 Persiaran Ampang, 4th Mile off Jalan Ampang, it has since moved to Taman Dato Ahmad Razali, also in Ampang.
