✝️ 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐌𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi, meaning “The Body of Christ,” is one of the most profound celebrations in the Catholic Church. It is a day set apart to honor the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist, not only as a doctrine but as a living mystery of faith.

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

At the heart of Corpus Christi is the belief that the Eucharist is not a symbol, but the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ.

Through the words of consecration spoken at Mass: • bread becomes the Body of Christ
• wine becomes the Blood of Christ

This mystery is not understood by sight, but by faith, rooted in the words of Christ: “This is my body.”

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓

Corpus Christi draws our attention to the Last Supper, where Jesus instituted the Eucharist on the night before His Passion.

In giving His Body and Blood, Christ: • established the New Covenant
• offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice
• remained truly present with His Church

The Eucharist is therefore both sacrifice and sacrament, the memorial of Christ’s saving love.

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓

On Corpus Christi, the Church publicly adores Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, often through Eucharistic processions and Benediction.

This public witness proclaims that: • Christ is truly present among His people
• He is worthy of worship and adoration
• He walks with His Church in history

It is faith made visible through reverence and procession.

✝️ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃

The Body of Christ is not only adored, but received. In Holy Communion, the faithful are nourished by Christ Himself.

Through the Eucharist: • grace is strengthened in the soul
• unity with Christ is deepened
• the Church is built up as one body

It is the sacrament that sustains the life of the believer.

Corpus Christi reveals the center of Catholic faith: • Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist
• His sacrifice continues sacramentally in the Church
• He remains with His people as spiritual food and divine presence

To celebrate Corpus Christi is to renew faith in the living Christ who remains with His Church until the end of time.

We are delighted to officially announce that the 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥, 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫 will be celebrating its 𝟓𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

This is a moment of thanksgiving and joy, as we look back on five decades of faith, fellowship, and service. We warmly invite all our parishioners to join us in this blessed occasion, to rejoice together and give glory to God for His abundant grace.

“Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.”

Today, Holy Mother Church invites us to contemplate the greatest mystery of our Faith — One God in Three Divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Eternal, consubstantial, and united in perfect love.

The Most Holy Trinity is not merely a doctrine to be understood, but a mystery to be adored. In this divine communion, we find the source of all creation, redemption, and sanctification.

Let us bow in humility before this sacred mystery, and strive to reflect the unity and love of the Trinity in our own lives.

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐉𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐇𝐈𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐓 𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐉𝐀 𝐒𝐓.𝐌𝐈𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐄𝐋 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐑.

Pada 30 Mei 2026, satu perjumpaan silaturahim telah berlangsung antara pimpinan PAS bersama YB Senator Ustaz Haji Nik Mohamad Abduh bin Nik Abdul Aziz dan umat Gereja St. Michael Alor Setar di Ketuai oleh Paderi Rev.Fr.Dato Michael Cheah.
Seramai 60 orang hadir dalam majlis penuh muhibah ini.Tujuan perjumpaan adalah untuk:
Mengukuhkan perpaduan antara masyarakat berbilang bangsa, agama dan budaya untuk Membina dan Mengukuhkan persefahaman melalui dialog dan interaksi mesra serta Menyemai nilai muhibah demi keharmonian bersama.Majlis ini turut diserikan dengan sesi ramah mesra, perkongsian pandangan, serta jamuan ringan yang menambah keakraban. Kehadiran kedua-dua pihak mencerminkan komitmen untuk terus menjalin hubungan baik dan membina masyarakat yang harmoni.Majlis ini selesai pada jam 6 Petang dengan sesi bergambar antara pimpinan PAS dan Umat Gereja....
