Grangers to Mexico

We are so thankful for the opportunity to bless a local church with a load of Bibles and Scripture materials!

God is so good. We are thankful that not only do we have the privilege of planting churches here in Mexico, but the Lord has also given us opportunities to come alongside local pastors and churches by providing whole Bibles and other Scripture materials for their ministries.

What a blessing to see God’s Word going out into more churches, homes, and communities. We are grateful for every opportunity the Lord gives us to help further the Gospel here in Mexico.

Thank you for praying!

We are thankful for the opportunity yesterday to attend the Mayor’s Government Report here in El Salto. It was helpful to learn more about what is happening in the community and better understand some of the needs of the area.

As we begin this new church, we want to truly know and love the people God has called us to reach. Opportunities like this help us know how to pray more specifically and how we can better serve and reach the people of El Salto with the Gospel.

Thank you for praying alongside us as we seek to serve our community and point people to Christ!

So thankful to serve with BIMI 🇲🇽

The Grangers are no strangers to the mission field. They served in Mexico for several years until a family medical condition brought them back for treatment. Now, after a healthy recovery, they are back in Mexico, staying committed to their calling! Pray for health and grace as they serve!

Prayer Request

Today, a man from our church and I have been invited to attend the Mayor’s Second Government Report here in El Salto. It is a city event where local leaders will share about what has taken place in the community over the past year.

I am thankful for this opportunity, especially as we begin the new church here in El Salto. It gives us a chance to meet local leaders, build relationships within the community, and represent Christ and our church well.

Please pray for us today—that the Lord would give us wisdom in our conversations, help us to be a good testimony, and open doors to build relationships that may lead to opportunities to share the Gospel.

We are excited to see how God might use opportunities like this as we seek to reach El Salto for Christ.

Yesterday, September 7th, marked the beginning of a new semester at Instituto Bautista Independiente David!

I had the privilege of teaching Personal Evangelism in the day school, and this semester I will also be teaching Baptist History for the online night school.

Please pray for the students and teachers throughout this semester. Pray that God would receive all the glory, that the students would grow in their knowledge of His Word, and that they would be equipped to serve Christ faithfully, lead others, and make disciples wherever the Lord may use them.

Please pray for us as teachers as well that the Lord would give us wisdom, strength, and understanding as we invest in those preparing for the work of the ministry.

I am thankful for the opportunity to have a small part in training others to serve the Lord. Please pray that everything taught would ultimately be used for His glory and the furtherance of the Gospel.

Yesterday was an exciting and exhausting Sunday, but God is so good, and we have some exciting news to share!

Yesterday, we held our church services outside under tents and the very hot Mexican sun… for the last time!

After the service, we went and signed the papers to officially rent a building for Iglesia Bautista El Refugio — Refuge Baptist Church!

We have a church building! 🙌🏻

There is a lot of work ahead of us. The building needs quite a bit of attention, and there are still many things we need such as paint, benches etc…but we are so thankful for the place God has provided.

This is only the beginning, and we are incredibly excited about the work before us. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we share some of the projects and needs for the new building!

Thank you to each of you who has prayed for us, encouraged us, given, and faithfully stood behind our family and ministry. Your prayers and support are such a vital part of what God is doing here in El Salto.

The work before us is great, but our God is greater.

So thankful for a wonderful Sunday!

When God begins opening doors and giving opportunities to stand before those in positions of government and influence… wow! We are reminded again that He can open doors we never could. God is working, and we are so excited to see what He continues to do!
