UPDATE #1 Updated on March 7th 2022
With trillions of dollars in emergency relief supplies being delivered to war-torn Ukraine, what should we Christians do?
Missionary Thomas, who fell by a sword after preaching the Bible on the banks of the Taedong River in the Korean peninsula in the year 1863 during the late Chosun dynasty.
His martyrdom and the subsequent distribution of some 6.2 million Bibles in Korean across the country became the torchlight and cornerstone of spread of Christianity in Korea today and further beyond its borders to all corners of the world.
Could we expect the same miracle authored and supported 100 % by our Lord through the Bibles in Ukraine in the hands of refugees ?
The Bible can be an opportunity for Ukraine to be transformed and rebuilt.
The people of Ukraine are searching for the word of God while thinking of their safety and survival during their plight.
At this time, we ask that you join us in sending 1 million Bibles.
Hundreds of thousands of refugees are pouring into every day into the border areas near Ukraine, such as Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova.
To help those who have been separated from their families and have left their homes, churches united to provide beds and missionaries joined in to take care of them.
Fortunately, aid organizations and companies around the world are quickly providing relief supplies. The World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) also announced that they would provide $3 billion USD (about 3.6 trillion won) to Ukraine, and Airbnb said it would provide temporary accommodation for 100,000 people.
Basic necessities are provided and accommodation is being provided, but those who have left their homes are uneasy. " Every time I hear the bombing, I worry about the husband and father I left behind, and there is nothing I can do but pray at night " says one refugee.
This is testimony from Pastor Lauren Cunningham, the founder of YWAM, Youth With A Mission, an International Evangelism Group
“When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, there was a request for donation of 200 million Bibles in Russian for the evangelization of Russia, but it is very unfortunate that only 20 million were sent. If 200 million were sent instead, the outcome would have been quite different today.”
Based on our recent experience of distributing 200,000 Bibles to Myanmar in 2020 through close collaboration between the Hanmo team and YWAM International, we decided to repeat the campaign to distribute 1 million Bibles to Ukraine and urgently.

Accordingly, YWAM (International Evangelism Group), OneBody.org and E-Land Asian Mission teamed up to deliver the Gospel of Mark along with relief supplies to millions of Ukrainian refugees.
Both the church and the missionaries are ready to help them. In the future, they could return to Ukraine and become the protagonists of spiritual change.
It costs about $ 50 cents USD ( or two Book of Gospel according to Mark for $ 1 USD) to prepare and send a copy of the Gospel of Mark in Ukrainian language. $ 500 USD is enough to deliver the Bibles to 1,000 refugees. If there are only 1,000 people who are determined to share with 1,000 copies of the Bible , it will reach to the hands of a 1 million Ukraine people.
A shortage of Bibles in Ukraine has already begun in Kiev. People who feel the fear of war are thinking about their faith, spiritual life and revisiting their priorities in life.

We ask for your prayers and support so that we can cover Ukraine with the gospel through the donation of 1 million Bibles and turn crisis into opportunity.
Every time I see the news of the war in Ukraine, it's like, 'It shouldn't end like this. We ask that you join in the donation by praying with your heart, saying, ‘You must hear the good news of the Lord who works in the midst of it.
’
Would you help us in this good work ? And at the same time it'd be your opportunity to make difference in the kingdom of God.
