Puente de Amistad

Puente de Amistad Puente de Amistad means "Bridge of Friendship." This ministry is a bridge between groups from the states and the people of Tijuana.

We display the love of Jesus in tangible ways by helping with orphanages and feeding kitchens, assisting in building projects for the poor, ministering in various churches, and working with other missionaries and local pastors to help meet peoples' needs.

What an amazing blur the last two days were with Village Christian School! They finished out VBS, ministered at a local casa hogar (orphanage), completed construction on the house, and ended the week with a church service and more tacos! Praise the Lord for a safe and successful week with our first team of the season. They did an incredible job!

Today we celebrate the Hunsaker family —Travis, Heather, Wesley, and Mya — as they headed back to Iowa to start their next chapter. There are no words to describe the incredible impact they had on Puente and the ministry here in Tijuana. Serving on the mission field comes with its many joys and challenges, especially when you have young children. They have served with excellence these past 10 years, and we are forever grateful for their hard work and dedication. We pray the Lord’s blessing and provision over them as they embark on this new journey. Thank you again, Hunsaker family! You will be missed.
