Días 9 y 10 en Tapachula:
Los últimos dos días hemos podido hacer varios de nuestros drama y bailes. Estamos en el centro de la zona de inmigración en Tapachula, por lo que tuvimos muchas oportunidades especiales para llegar a las personas. Por las mañanas hemos servido café, galletas y avena a las personas que esperan el trabajo. En las tardes, hemos hecho visitas a la casa, y ayer asistimos a una fiesta de cumpleaños para el pastor de la Iglesia que actualmente estamos sirviendo.
Estamos llegando al final de nuestra fase de alcance, así que por favor manténganos en sus oraciones.

Days 9 & 10 in Tapachula:
The last two days we have been able to do several of our skits and dances. We are in the center of the immigration area in Tapachula, so we had many special opportunities to reach people. In the mornings we have served coffee, cookies, and oatmeal to people who are waiting for work. In the afternoons we have done house visits, and yesterday we attended a birthday party for the pastor of the church we are currently serving at.
We are coming to the end of our outreach phase, so please keep us in your prayers.

Día 8 Tapachula:
Ayer nos mudamos a una nueva ubicación / iglesia en Tapachula para trabajar con una iglesia de inicio para inmigrantes y lugareños. Para nuestro primer día con esta iglesia, Manuel compartió su testimonio, Rebecca predicó sobre la fidelidad de Dios y todo el equipo hizo un drama para la iglesia. Estamos ansiosos por esta nueva ubicación y las oportunidades que tendremos para ministrar a las personas que conocemos.
Ore para que los últimos días de Alcance sean fructíferos y para que continuemos perseverando.

Day 8 Tapachula:
Yesterday we moved to a new location/church in Tapachula to work with a startup church for immigrants and locals. For our first day with this church Manuel shared his testimony, Rebecca preached about God's faithfulness, and the whole team did a drama for the church. We are so looking forward to this new location and the opportunities we will have to minister to the people we meet.
Please pray that the last few days of Outreach will be fruitful and that we will continue to persevere.

Días 3-7 en Tapachula:
Durante el resto de nuestro tiempo con la iglesia Bautista con la que estábamos trabajando en Tapachula pudimos participar en varios ministerios diferentes. Hicimos visitas domiciliarias a miembros de la iglesia, así como a personas cuyos hijos son parte de un programa que la iglesia organiza todos los sábados. Pudimos asistir a un par de reuniones de jóvenes diferentes. Karen enseñó al grupo de jóvenes sobre la entrega a Dios. Manuel pudo compartir su testimonio en una reunión de jóvenes diferente, y todos pudimos pasar tiempo ministrando y hablando con niños de todas las edades. También tuvimos la oportunidad de ir al área central de Tapachula y experimentar algo de la cultura local.

Days 3-7 in Tapachula:
For the rest of our time with the Baptist church we were working with in Tapachula we were able to participate in several different ministries. We went on house visits to members of the church, as well as people whose children are part of a program the church puts on every Saturday. We were able to attend a couple different youth meetings. Karen taught the youth group about surrendering to God. Manuel was able to share his testimony at a different youth meeting, and all of us were able to spend time ministering and talking to kids of all ages. We were also given the opportunity to go to the center area of Tapachula and experience some of the local culture.

Día 2 Tapachula:
Para nuestro segundo día completo aquí en Tapachula tuvimos la oportunidad de servir café y arroz con leche a los inmigrantes y refugiados. Luego, hicimos un drama y hicimos un ministro de oración y hablamos con la gente. Muchas de las personas que conocimos son de Haití y hablaban en su mayoría francesas. Karen pudo cepillar sus habilidades francesas y nos ayudó a comunicarnos a las personas que encontramos con la razón y el propósito de estar allí.
Gracias a todos por mantenernos en sus oraciones.

Day 2 Tapachula:
For our second full day here in Tapachula we had the opportunity to serve coffee and sweet rice and milk to immigrants and refugees. Afterwards, we did a drama and ministered through prayer and talking to people. Many of the people we met are from Haiti and spoke mostly French. Karen was able to brush off her French skills, and helped us to communicate to the people we encountered the reason and purpose for us being there.

Día 1 Tapachula:
El domingo fue nuestro primer día completo en Tapachula. Asistimos al servicio de la iglesia que nos acoge. Christian y Sofi compartieron un poco de sus testimonios y por qué están en JUCUM. El servicio tenía el tema del Día de la Madre y al final del servicio, todos junto con el grupo de jóvenes de la iglesia cantamos una canción del Día de la Madre y entregamos una rosa a las madres. Por la tarde, Christian, Aurora, Sofi y Karen dirigieron una clase para los hijos de padres inmigrantes. Muchos de los niños son de Haití, Ecuador y República Dominicana. Nuestro tiempo aquí en Tapachula lo dedicaremos a servir y evangelizar a personas que emigran de otros países.

Day 1 Tapachula:
Sunday was our first full day in Tapachula. We attended the church service of the church that is hosting us. Christian and Sofi shared a little bit of their testimonies and why they are in YWAM. The service was Mothers Day themed and at the end of the service, we all along with the church's youth group sang a Mother's Day song and gave out a rose to the mothers. In the afternoon Christian, Sofi, Aurora, and Karen led a class for the children of immigrating parents. Many of the children are from Haiti, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic. Our time here in Tapachula will be spent serving and Evangelizing to people immigrating from other countries.

Días 10 y 11 en Puerto Madero:
Para nuestros últimos dos días en Puerto Madero, pudimos hacer algunas visitas a la casa. Visitamos a los creyentes, no creyentes, personas enfermas, jóvenes y mayores. A través de cada una de nuestras experiencias, el Señor fue fiel y pudimos aprovechar cada oportunidad e interacción que tuvimos. Por las tardes de nuestros últimos dos días pudimos ir a la playa por un par de horas con hermanos y hermanas de la Iglesia. En nuestro último día, fuimos invitados por un hermano de la iglesia para almorzar en su restaurante justo en la playa. Por la noche, en nuestro último día, pudimos cantar algunas canciones de adoración y pasar el rato con algunos de los miembros de la Iglesia.

Days 10&11 in Puerto Madero:
For our last couple days in Puerto Madero we were able to make some house visits. We visited believers, non-believers, sick, young, and older people. Through each of our experiences the Lord was faithful and we were able to take advantage of every opportunity and interaction we had. In the afternoons of our last two days we were able to go to the beach for a couple hours with brothers and sisters from the church. On our last day we were invited by a brother from the church to eat lunch at their restaurant right on the beach. At night in our last day we were able to sing some worship songs and hang out with some of the members of the church.

Día 9 de Ministerio en Puerto Madero:
Ayer la mitad de nuestro equipo tuvo la oportunidad de ir a servir en un pueblo llamado Mapastepec, a unas dos horas de Puerto Madero. Karen y Andrea enseñaron a los niños acerca de conocer a Jesús personalmente mientras Christian, Alan y Rebecca hacían visitas a domicilio. El resto del equipo hizo visitas domiciliarias en Puerto Madero, mientras Manuel y Aurora enseñaban a los jóvenes de la iglesia un par de nuestros dramas. Por la noche todos asistimos a la reunión de oración de la iglesia el miércoles.

Day 9 of Ministry in Puerto Madero:
Yesterday half of our team had the opportunity to go and serve in a town called Mapastepec, about two hours away from Puerto Madero. Karen and Andrea taught the kids class about knowing Jesus personally while Christian, Alan, and Rebecca made house visits. The rest of the team made home visits in Puerto Madero, while Manuel and Aurora taught the youths of the church a couple of our dramas. In the evening we all attended the churches Wednesday night prayer meeting.

Day 8 Puerto Madero:
El día de hoy estuvimos visitando familias en Puerto Madero, orando por enfermos y animando a las personas a retomar su relación con Dios. En la tarde hicimos un drama en el parque central con el objetivo de dar a conocer el mensaje de Jesus. Terminando oramos por las personas que estaban en el parque y compartimos el mensaje de salvación. Para terminar nuestro día, festejamos el cumpleaños de Alan con nuestros amigos de Puerto Madero.

Day 8 Puerto Madero:
Today we visited families in Puerto Madero. We prayed for the sick and encouraged people to resume their relationship with God. In the afternoon we did a drama in the central park in order to spread the message of Jesus. At the end, we prayed for the people who were in the park and shared the message of salvation. To end our day, we celebrated Alan's 21st birthday with our new friends from Puerto Madero.

Día 7 de Ministerio en Puerto Madero:
Llevamos una semana sirviendo en Puerto. Por la mañana servicio comunitario. Limpiamos un largo tramo del malecón y una parte de la playa durante varias horas. A media mañana y hasta la noche hicimos más visitas domiciliarias a creyentes y no creyentes. Hemos estado aprendiendo mucho sobre cómo llegar a diferentes grupos de personas, y el Señor ha sido muy fiel. Por la noche practicamos otra obra dramática que acabamos de aprender.
Esta noche estaremos transmitiendo en vivo alrededor de las 7 pm CDT (hora de verano central), ¡así que sintonícense para ver el nuevo drama que estaremos haciendo!

Day 7 of Ministry in Puerto Madero:
We have now been serving in Puerto for one week. In the morning we did another community service project. We cleaned up a long stretch of boardwalk and a part of the beach for several hours. Mid-morning and into the evening we made more house visits all day to believers and nonbelievers. We have been learning so much about how to reach different demographics of people, and the Lord has been so faithful. In the evening we practiced another drama/skit we just learned.
