We are so grateful for James’ group, who traveled all the way to the mountains to serve alongside us. Their hearts, dedication, and hard work made it possible to begin building a new classroom for our school—something that will impact generations of students to come.

With the help and guidance of Papa Joe, this project became more than just construction; it became a beautiful example of unity, love, and purpose. Every nail, every wall, and every moment spent here reflects God’s faithfulness and provision.

Thank you for pouring into our children’s future and being part of what God is doing in this place. You are always part of our Big Heart family.

This past February, we celebrated all this wonderful birthdays at our orphanage! We wish a very happy birthday to all the kids who had their special day this month—and to our amazing staff who celebrate alongside them. Your smiles, love, and joy make every day brighter. Here’s to another year of happiness and growth!

🥋✨ Brad Burdette’s Visit – High School Jiu-Jitsu Training ✨🥋

We were blessed to welcome Brad Burdette once again to our school, this time working with our high school students through jiu-jitsu training and sharing valuable lessons of discipline, respect, and perseverance.

Our students not only learned new techniques, but they were also encouraged to grow in character and faith, understanding that true strength comes from self-control, dedication, and trusting in God.

We are so thankful for his commitment to investing in our students month after month and for being a positive example of service and leadership. These moments make a lasting impact in their lives.

Thank you for pouring into the next generation and for helping shape both strong bodies and strong hearts. 🙏💙

We are so thankful for the S&S group who came to serve and support our ministry in such a powerful way. They helped with the electrical work in our carpentry shop.

They also went to the mountains to help install the new cross, a beautiful symbol of faith, hope, and God’s presence over our community. ✝️🏔️

✨ We want to give a special thank you to Brandon and Travis for their incredible work and servant hearts.

They are building a brand new metal cross for our mountain location to replace the old wooden one, creating a lasting symbol of faith, hope, and God’s love for everyone who visits.

We are so grateful for their dedication, time, and willingness to use their gifts to glorify God and bless our ministry.

❤️✨ Valentine’s Day at the Orphanage ✨❤️

This Saturday was such a blessing for us as we celebrated Valentine’s Day with our kids and some beloved friends who joined us to make this day truly special.

We were so thankful to have Maria and Cyrus with their daughter, along with Raquel and Diego, who lovingly prepared a delicious Greek dinner for everyone to enjoy. 🫶🍽️

The Burdette family was also with us this weekend, working with our students through jiu-jitsu classes and spending quality time with our children.

We were also blessed by the Henderson family, who helped organized fun games for our Valentine’s Day celebration, filling the day with laughter and joy. 🎉❤️

We are so grateful to God for friends who serve with love and for moments like these that remind us how beautiful community is. Thank you to everyone who shared their time, talents, and hearts with our children.

✨ We were truly blessed by the visit of HERO MAKERS, who came in January to serve at our Big Heart Matamoros location.

During their time with us, they worked tirelessly on construction for our new school building, helping move this dream forward step by step. They also spent meaningful time with our children, bringing joy, encouragement, and God’s love into every space they touched.

Their dedication and servant hearts made a lasting impact on our ministry and on the lives of our children.

✨ This week we were blessed to receive a group from Carmel Christian School in Charlotte, North Carolina, who came to serve at our Big Heart location in the mountains.

For an entire week, they shared God’s love through action—helping in different areas of the orphanage by moving dirt, carrying gravel, and serving the surrounding communities. They also spent time sharing the Word of God and bringing encouragement and hope to many families.

We are truly grateful for their servant hearts and for being God’s hands and feet to our children and community.

Thank you for saying “yes” to serving and for showing the love of Jesus through your actions. 💛
