What a beautiful Sunday together as the body of Christ! ❤️

We worshiped, encouraged one another, served one another, and rejoiced in the grace of God. There is something special about gathering as one family, from many nations and backgrounds, united in Jesus.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.” — 1 Corinthians 12:27

What a joy to belong to His body!

God Finishes His Work!

Philippians 1:6 says, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

Your salvation doesn’t rest on how tightly you can hold onto Christ—it rests on how faithfully Christ holds onto you.

God didn’t save you and then leave you to finish the job. The same grace that called you is the grace that keeps you. You will stumble. You will struggle. You will fight sin. But if you belong to Christ, God will not abandon the work He began in you.

The perseverance of the saints is ultimately the perseverance of God.

So today, keep going. Keep trusting. Keep fighting sin. Keep looking to Jesus.

He started the work. He will finish the work.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news with our Fellowship Church family! 🇲🇽❤️

After much prayer and seeking the Lord, James Davison, Josie Beebe Davison and their children, Jed and Annie Jane, are coming to join us in Mexico!

James, a ministry graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, will be serving with our pastoral team as a Co-Pastor at Fellowship, helping us continue to pursue our mission of making disciples and proclaiming the good news of Jesus throughout the Riviera Maya and beyond.

We are especially grateful for the way God has led their family to this moment. Leaving their church family, friends, and community in West Monroe, LA is a significant sacrifice, especially with young children, but they are stepping forward in faith, trusting that Jesus and the advancement of His Kingdom are worth everything. We are especially thankful to Fair Park Baptist Church for investing into the Davison's lives and preparing their hearts for this next chapter.

We are excited not only to welcome James as a fellow pastor, but to welcome the entire family as they become part of what God is doing here.

Please join us in praying for the transition—for their children, for the move, for their adjustment to a new culture and community, and for the ministry God is preparing for them.

Romans 8:1 — Union with Christ

If you are in Christ, God is not waiting for you to fail so He can condemn you.

Your justification does not rest on how well you performed today. It rests on Christ’s perfect righteousness and finished work.

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” — Romans 8:1

As Charles Spurgeon said, “Christ has died for us, and therefore we shall not die.”

The gospel is not that you have become good enough for God.

The gospel is that Christ is perfect and all-sufficient for our sake!
