Celebrate with us as we praise the Lord for working in the life of one of our former Jobs for Life students. After lots and lots of hard work (in other words, multiple visits to multiple government offices, etc) she was approved to receive disability payments due to her limited visual capacity.

Pray for E so that she can now move onto her next goal which is to do some training and schooling to become a teacher's aide, which is part of her vocational dream.

Acompáñennos a celebrar y alabar al Señor por obrar en la vida de una de nuestras exalumnas del programa "Trabajos para la Vida". Tras mucho esfuerzo (es decir, numerosas visitas a oficinas gubernamentales, etc.), obtuvo la aprobación para recibir pagos por discapacidad debido a su visión limitada.

Oren por E para que pueda alcanzar su siguiente meta: capacitarse y formarse como asistente de maestra, lo cual forma parte de su sueño vocacional.

This morning we attended a missions group/study, and the we were on our way home. All is well.

So, today we took our partners to the beach. They don't often take time off, and this way they don't have to worry about paying for it. Also we attended an evening Bible study and Bev spoke. A frustration, we have had two flat tires today (we bought new tires in Ohio last February), so tomorrow 's job is getting tires replaced.

We weren't as busy today. Neither is us felt well-- tummy problems. But we did go to San Sebastian Ixcapa for their anniversary celebration. There were a lot of people there.

Today we visited the church in a village as they prepared for their anniversary event. The cow has been butchered and is in a pit smoking all night.

We went to the w. Coast today. It's not a vacation, it's a field visit. We're here to see, talk to, support and encourage some partners in ministry.

I enjoy trying to keep in touch with our US supporters via regular mail-a letter here, a package sometime, etc. Unfortunately, due to the current administrations tariffs on EVERY incoming international package/letter from around the world, Mexico (and a number of other countries) have stopped sending international shipments of any kind to the US. We have a work around, but it relies on people who are going the US to take letters and packages with them when they go and mailing them from there. So, we'll see how long we can continue to send anything. We think that in-coming mail can still be sent to us. The administration's actions have real life consequences, from the small (like this) to much larger ones. I try to keep my overt political views off this page, but this effects us directly and I wanted people to be aware of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDuY8uDtxOo

Disfruto tratando de mantenerme en contacto con nuestros amigos y patrocinadores estadounidenses por correo regular: una carta aquí, un paquete en algún momento, etc. Desafortunadamente, debido a los aranceles de la administración actual en CADA paquete/carta internacional entrante de todo el mundo, México (y varios otros países) han dejado de enviar envíos internacionales de cualquier tipo a los EE. UU. Tenemos una solución alternativa, pero depende de que las personas que van a los EE. UU. lleven cartas y paquetes consigo cuando vayan y los envíen desde allí. Entonces, veremos cuánto tiempo podemos seguir enviando algo. Creemos que todavía se nos puede enviar el correo entrante. Las acciones de la administración tienen consecuencias en la vida real, desde las pequeñas (como esta) hasta las mucho más grandes. Trato de mantener mis opiniones políticas abiertas fuera de esta página, pero esto nos afecta directamente y quería que la gente estuviera al tanto.
