Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We hope you are all doing well and enjoying the spring season. We want to let you know some of our current activities for the month of April.

We finalized our last Amazing Grace Christian Church service and our church services are now closed for the season. We want to thank all the guest Pastors who volunteered their time to preach for us on Sundays at the Ciao Restaurant. We will be closing temporarily our Church services until October 2025 for the next upcoming 2025-2026 season.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Hello Everyone. We want to take the opportunity to invite you all to our Easter Sunday service. Pastor Matt O Rourke from Australia. We will be celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. There will be music, Bible teaching and fellowship. We will do our service at 10 am at the Ciao restaurant at so we hope to see you all there. It will be a honor to let us share our honor to the Lord with you all do we can rejoice together.

It will be the time of of reflection snd thanking the Lord for all he has done for us. He died and rose from the dead on the third day so we can have eternal life with the Lord.

We look forward to seeing you and your family there.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We hosted a week-long Sports Camp onsite for a Canadian church's youth ministry beginning March 17th until March 22nd with the opening ceremony and closing ceremony Approximately 20 youth and sponsors travelled from British Columbia and stayed locally with a youth ministry. They engaged the kids in our current mission from the park plus numerous children from the neighborhood in games of all sorts for 5 days. Everyone had a great time as we know children just love to play, in spite of the language barriers. As you can see from the pictures the Canadian youth group even joined us for church on Sunday. The Sports Camp excited us as it was only a glimpse of what we can do in the future at the School of Champions site and our goal to have to be under ownership in Amazing Grace Missions.

The Youth Missions Team led a fun-filled sports camp, engaging kids in soccer, basketball, handball and volleyball. The camp not only offered a chance for the youth to develop their athletic skills but also created a platform to build friendships, and talk about faith from scripture.

The camp was about more than just sports; it was about building meaningful relationships. Through these connections, we were able to help the church strengthen its bonds with families in the area, providing them with opportunities for fellowship and support.

About 40 children attended in total and it was a huge impact to the Children. The objective was to do an outreach into the community and establishing connection and sharing scripture.

February 2025 update

Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We hope you are doing well and enjoying the year so far. We want to share a brief update on our current activities that happened in February.

We celebrated Valentine's day at the Mission with a special fellowship activity for the congregation. Everyone had a wonderful time, It was such a blessing. At the Valentines day fellowship event the Mothers made beautiful stuffed hearts that are shaped like a pillow. There was cake and refreshments during the event and everyone enjoyed it.

We are still doing art and bible classes for the Kindergarten and Elementary school students. We are so proud of them for their participation and their efforts to come to each class with enthusiasm and interest to learn.

Other news, we are continuing doing the English classes at Casa Conchita (Women's Shelter) for the Elementary School and Junior High. One of our volunteers and supporters Marissa Engisch and Cassandra are the teachers who are getting together at Casa Conchita (Women's Shelter). It has been a huge success. All the students are thrilled to be learning English with enthusiasm, we are so proud of their efforts.

In addition, we are also conducting Computer classes for the Elementary School students. One of our students that is in College Antonio Mendez is serving as a Computer teacher.. We are so proud of Antonio for his interest to serve.

We are continuing to sponsor the High School and College students 50$ dollars for the school year.

We have started partial renovation because in March we will be hosting a sports camp. EPIC and Onside Christian ministry from Vancouver, Canada will be participating in the event.. We will send more news in future updates. The objective is to do an outreach into the community.

January 2025 Update

Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We hope you are doing well and starting the year right with the Lord. We want to share a brief update on what is going on at the Mission.

We celebrated 13 years at the Mission last Saturday and the wisemen celebration all in one day. Amazing Grace Missions is still standing strong thanks to the Lord. We celebrated with joy, hope. It was a wonderful time. The whole congregation participated singing beautiful worship songs of praise to the Lord in spanish. It is such a blessing.

We enjoyed a traditional taco buffet from a local catering business. The whole congregation enjoyed the tacos very much. There were cakes and pizza provided at this event as well. Everyone loved them including the children and their families.

We celebrated the wiseman celebration and gave away toys to all the children present at the event. It was a joyful day filled with hope and giving thanks. We prayed and thanked the Lord for this ongoing ministry and also honored Pastor Stanley for his vision in planting the Mission in Bosques de Progreso since January 2012. It is such a blessing.

We are looking forward to starting renovations for the School of Champions building in the near future. We will send more news in future updates once we have more information about the project and its development progress.

We would like to talk about the programs that we are going to implement for the Mission.

We are continuing doing English classes located in Casa Conchita (Women's Shelter) with Mrs. Audra Larson. She teaches the class online for the Elementary, Junior High, and High School students.

In addition, we are continuing to provide art and bible classes for the Kindergarten children. We feel so much joy seeing them enjoying the art classes with so much enthusiasm. What a blessing.

The advanced discipleship program started effectively. They showed interest, in addition, we want to develop new Pastors and new leaders to the students enrolled in High School and College.

We are planning to host the baptism ceremony in November for individuals who want to be baptised for the very first time in order to be born again in Jesus Christ. It is such a blessing.

We will be celebrating Thanksgiving which will be the first celebration in the congregation teaching the families the importance of giving thanks.

We have already purchased the tennis shoes and we will be distributing the shoes to all the children in the congregation. We are so glad they will have a new pair of shoes for School.

We would like to spread hope during the holiday season and we are organizing a Christmas celebration for the congregation at the Mission. We would like to purchase Christmas dinners that include chicken, rice, and potatoes for 85 families and super food bags. In addition, we would like to get christmas gifts for the children. We would like your generous support for this holiday celebration. It would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking forward to starting renovations for the School of Champions building in the near future. We will send more news in future updates once we have more information about the project and its development progress.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful Fall season so far.

We want to let you know that we are ready to start the 2024-2025 season at the Ciao Restaurant. We want to remind all of you that we intend to start our Sunday Church services in November 10th and onward. We are so excited for all of you to come join us at our Sunday Services located in Paseo de Cocoteros 33-35 Nuevo Vallarta next to the La Rivera Restaurant.
We know the Lord is guiding Amazing Grace Missions and Amazing Grace Christian Church. We hope to see you in one of our Church services. Please share to friends and family this news so you can invite others to come to our Church service. It starts at 10 am Central time.
