Last Update on Jess’s Health:
-We first and foremost want to say THANK YOU for your loving support towards her medical bill! It has been covered 💯 %. Thank you for your gifts of love! We pray blessings over you and ask the Lord to bless you above and beyond!
- We finally received the last results yesterday:
-Negative for Lupus 🙌🏼🙌🏼
-Positive for an autoimmune disease that presented itself in November. Which one it was?… still to be determined. Got referred to a Rheumatologist.
-Platelets normal 🙌🏼🙌🏼
-Glucose a lot better, only taking a lower amount of insulin at night. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
-Only taking one pill at night to help keep platelets normal.
At the beginning of January Jess will need to see the hematologist, rheumatologist, and doctor who treated her in the hospital, to determine what’s next and what medications to stop or reevaluate treatment.
-She feels great, has learned a lot about healthy eating and keeping glucose levels optimal, as well as adjusting her schedule to make sure she doesn’t skip meals and takes time to rest.
Thank you so much for your prayers and faithful support!
God is good and we praise Him as we come to the end of 2025, a year of TRUST!

Wishing you all the best as we celebrate CHRIST in Christmas!

Update on Jess:
-We arrived home last Monday!
-She had an online appointment with the hematologist on Tuesday, her last blood work was Monday and her numbers are back to normal 211,000 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Praise Jesus!!
-So her doctor reduced the medication she was taking to stimulate platelets in half and wants another blood work done before Thanksgiving to see if Jess can stop taking medication altogether.
-Jess´glucose is doing incredibly better… she has only used the slow insulin shot every night, but she hasn’t been needing fast insulinm anymore, due to the normal levels she has started to have, especially before meals. Her first glucose reading of the morning (6:30 am) is still a little above average, eventhough she’s been following a low carb, no sugar diet since she was in the hospital… it may be related to that one medication she takes every night.
So we believe that once she stops taking that medication, glucose should stay lower.
She will be calling the hospital tomorrow to ask for the last results that were still pending. 🙏
We want to thank each person, and every church that has jumped right in to help us cover the medical bill. Thank you for your generosity! We love you and thank you for your constant prayers on Jess’ behalf and we continue to pray for the last results and follow up appointments. God did a great miracle in her body and continues strengthening her.

Quick update on Jess
-Platelets today are at 171,000 🥳🥳🙌🏼🙌🏼 on normal count!
We praise the LORD for such a good report!
-Glucose is starting to get to more normal levels, she’s still needing a small insulin shot every day. We trust the Lord will continue to touch and heal everything that is out of alignment in her body (including her eyesight) in Jesus name!

Josué, his friend Santiago, and I traveled to the village yesterday so we can be at church tomorrow and share God’s Word and testimonies! Judah and Jess are at her parents and will travel to the village on Monday.
Thank you for all your constant prayers, love, and support! We thank you for the donations that we’ve been receiving so far in order to help cover the Unexpected Medical Bill from last week. As of right now $805.00 has been donated online.

***If you would like to make a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE Donation towards the $4632 that we will need, to cover insurance copay you may do so in this link under our General Mission Fund (Note: Jess’ Medical). Every amount counts and is greatly appreciated. ❤️ And any excess will be redesignated to the General Fund.

We’re out of the hospital!!! Thank you for all your prayers, love, and support!
She was dismissed yesterday at noon but it took 24 hours for the whole process to go through.
-Jess will need to have follow up appointments in the next days and months to keep monitoring her platelets and overall health.
-We don’t know when the last results will come through, they will inform us later… so please keep praying they come back clear and revert the Lupus diagnosis they gave her.
We’ve seen God’s personal care during these unknown waters and TRUST Him for what’s next. He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL and GOOD.
We love you and appreciate all your prayers and support!

*Here in Mexico for a person to leave the hospital you have to pay the full amount owed before you’re dismissed, because they do not make payment plans. So as we mentioned, the amount was going to be $4,632 dollars and had to be paid today.

***If you would like to make a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE Donation towards the $4632 that we need, to build back up the General Fund to where it was before this incident, you may do so in this link under our General Mission Fund (Note: Jess’ Medical). Every amount counts and is greatly appreciated. ❤️ And any excess will be redesignated to the General Fund.

Update on Jess’ health!
-Today we received the great news that the process to be released from the hospital has started!
-Platelets today are at 75,068 on regular count and 92,000 on Manual count!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🥳🥳
-Blood sugar levels started to lower since last night at 8:23 pm! Woke up with a level of 108 compared to the 330 she arrived with last Friday. 🎉
-Yesterday the rheumatologist came for a consult and said Jess now tested negative for the Rehumatoid Factor… meaning it’s gone now.
-Still waiting on results from the autoimmune disease analysis, but the hematologist last night said they’re ruling it as Lupus for insurance purposes, while they’re still waiting for the results, since it’s easier to receive all the medications and therapies if ever needed that way, then ruling it as an ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura) and then having more restrictions to treatments.
-Please pray with us that as the results come back, it will have been only a one episode thing and that she will even test negative for this diagnosis.

We rejoice and praise the Lord for every good report since yesterday! God is our MIRACLE worker, PROMISE keeper, and DEFINITELY LIGHT in the darkness!
Thank you all for your heartfelt messages, unceasing prayers, love, and support! They have been a balm to our hearts during this time!

Update on Jess’ health! Thank you for your prayers!
-Platelets keep going up… they doubled from yesterday
On regular count 28,000 on Manual count 72,000 🙌🏼🙌🏼
-Still watching her blood sugar… they’re hydrating her more today hoping that also helps move the insulin better
-The corticosteroid they give her to help stimulate platelets and to also help the rehumatoid factor raises her blood sugar, but today is the last of those treatments she gets. Praying after they’re done with that treatment, blood sugar starts going down 🙏🏼
-Still waiting on results from the autoimmune disease analysis, the doctor said today that results take up to 4 days. Hopefully tomorrow we get more answers.
-Depending on those results, a rheumatologist will come for a consult or not. 🙏🏼
-Hematologist said tonight we might be looking at leaving hospital on Wednesday or Thursday morning at the latest. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
*Please keep Praying for these issues and that her blood sugar does not go dangerously high.

Update on Jess’ health:
We thank you all for your prayers. God has been working and platelets continue to increase. On Friday she was admitted in the hospital with 4,000 platelets. This morning she has 12,000… she at least needs to be at 50,000 to go home.
-She tested positive for Rehumatoid factor which means due to a previous infection … even though the infection was gone the body continued to attack and destroy platelets… considered then as an autoimmune disease. Treatment has been corticosteroids which they started giving her from day 1. That also stimulates bone marrow to produce more platelets.
-She had an ultrasound yesterday (spleen and kidney looking good) liver showed to have moderate fatty liver disease which means her blood sugar has probably not been good this last year so by losing weight and controlling glucose levels should help liver be healthy.
* So both of those things may have caused platelets to go low.
*Still studying the Rehumatoid Factor to see if they need to call Rheumatologist for a
Consult.

Prayer requests:
-Blood sugar levels to go down.
-Healing for her liver
-Strength to keep the eating habit changes with a good diet to help overall health.
-That the Rehumatoid Factor or autoimmune will respond to the medication and that it will be only a one time episode.
-Provision for her Insurance copay. Which will be a max of $4,632 dollars. It can be less, but we won’t know until we leave the hospital.

Jess is standing on God’s promises and remembering these truths she drew from
Her favorite song these days. We continue to TRUST!
Thank you again for your prayers and messages! Love you all!

Hello, everyone! As you all know we’ve been traveling these last three days. We made it to Monterrey, Mexico yesterday and since Jess noticed some red dots on both of her legs, we got blood work to check her levels. Platelets were low so today she was admitted to the hospital for platelets transfusion. They ran several tests and were waiting for results. She tested negative for dengue (a mosquito transmitted disease). Waiting in the Lord and TRUSTING Him. We appreciate your prayers! Won’t make it to the village this weekend… God knows best. Pray for the doctors to have wisdom and Jess’ body to be healed and all levels stay optimal. Please keep her in your prayers!

Made it to Monterrey!!! Thank you all for your prayers 🙏🏼 We will stay a few days here visiting Jess’ family!
