At Gan Menahem, locking in some serious Passover core memories! ✨
This week we had an amazing Model Seder!
The kids practiced all the steps of the Seder we’ve been learning. We touched and tasted, asked the Mah Nishtana, and got fully into character acting out the Passover story — complete with King Pharaoh and Moses!
We marched and danced their way out of Egypt, and everyone had a blast. To wrap it up, each child made their very own Seder plate craft to take home.
It was such a fun and meaningful way for them to experience the Pesach story hands-on.

This Nissan, our women's circle came together for another beautiful morning of movement, breath, deep learning, genuine connection... and yes, a delicious healthy brunch that nourished body and soul! 🌿🥗
We dove into the inspiring story of Batya (Bithiah), Pharaoh's daughter, who defied her father's cruel decree, reached out to save baby Moses against all odds, and became known as "daughter of G‑d" for her faith and righteousness.
Her lesson hit home: When we truly believe in ourselves and commit to doing what's right—even when it's hard—Hashem stretches out His hand to help us achieve far beyond what we ever dreamed possible. ✨
Grateful for every sister in this warm circle. Who's ready for next time? 💕

Learning about Purim in a hands-on and meaningful way.

Today at Gan Menahem we did a fun science project making beads out of juice and agar agar, prepared onigiri shaped into perfect little triangles by the kids, and played a game where the kids dressed up and raced to do the mitzvot of Purim and see if they had time to cut themselves a piece of chocolate before the music stopped.

In the baby class, we worked on fine motor skills by filling felt hamantashen, decorating more oznei haman made of paper and then got to make the real thing. They had a blast rolling the dough, cutting, filling, and shaping their own creations.

In a small Jewish community, every child matters. Every mitzvah practiced and every shared moment builds something real and meaningful 🩷

Yesterday, we had the privilege of gathering a minyan here in La Paz.
It’s always special and meaningful when we join as a group like this — a beautiful reminder of the strength we have together.

Esta semana en Gan Menahem nos enfocamos en Purim y en aprender a ver a Hashem incluso cuando está oculto.

Con el grupo de 2 años, los niños hicieron mini Meguilot y crearon graggers con platos de papel y frijoles.

Los niños mayores aprendieron sobre Purim a través de actividades divertidas. Practicaron hebreo con Alef Champ, dijeron Pesukim y ganaron premios, vieron la historia de la Meguilá y hablaron sobre cómo el plan de Hashem funciona incluso cuando no lo vemos, exploraron la ciencia con un experimento de electricidad estática, resolvieron un mensaje secreto, trabajaron juntos haciendo una red de estambre mientras decían cosas lindas unos de otros, y hornearon hamantaschen para llevar a casa.

Fue una semana llena de alegría, aprendizaje y espíritu de Purim.
