SAINT MARK'S has served the English-speaking community of Guadalajara
since 1949. It is part of the worldwide Anglican Communion (known as Episcopal in the United States), the third largest Christian group in the world. As for faith and practice, we usually seek the "via media," the middle way, a tradition that dates back to Queen Elizabeth I in the 16th century. It means that in worship we shar

e the liturgical forms of the traditional church and that through the centuries we have adopted theological viewpoints similar to mainline Protestant groups. At Saint Mark's you find Anglicans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Baptists, and others all happily worshiping together.
