LOOK WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!
True Testimony:
Today is Mother's day here in Mexico, and my wife and I will celebrate our 12th year wedding anniversary - God is faithful!!!
Over 12 years ago I was being told just ONE hour before our wedding we could NOT get married because my name was spelled wrong on my birth certificate, this after haggling with the Mexican government offices for over a year and changing our wedding date twice to get the proper paperwork turned in.
We had finally had enough and we both felt it was time to give up . . . we did a lot of praying together and asked the Lord if this was His will for us . . . we would try one more time, and in January 2014 the wedding department gave us a new wedding date, May 10th.
A week before we were to get married, I was called in again to the government offices because of a 'problem'. They had scheduled our wedding date incorrectly on Mother's day, which is something (we were told) they NEVER do!
When I finally yelled at them, they got the message... the gal that made the error would show up and perform our wedding, but "could we do it earlier" so she could spend time with her family?
I said absolutely yes!
Then 3 days before our wedding, it dawned on me my passport had expired! I frantically ran down to the office and the head gal there told me, "Walt, all you ever needed was your license - you don't need your passport!" When I asked why they didn't tell me this months ago, she apologized.
Two-Teen(comes b4 Thirteen) years ago today, God blessed me with the greatest gift after salvation, a godly wife, and during the wedding ceremony here is what the Lord spoke to my heart as I was fighting back the tears.
"I chose this day for you. Today is Mothers day, and I will bless your mom with a 'new' daughter, and I will bless Maribel's mom with a 'new son'."
Our Lord is a God of purpose - He knows what He's doing, and He does it in a manner so much better than we could ever plan, imagine, or think.
This glorious day 12 years ago my wife and I were the ONLY ones getting married (I was later told) in all of Baja Mexico - whether that's true or not it doesn't matter -- God's got my back!

's fellowship we talked a lot about the proximity of Christ's return, what the prophets said, what Jesus said, God's timetable, the Bridegroom returning for His Bride, the consequences of NOT walking with Christ and being left behind, the millions who will turn to Christ during the Tribulation, the mark of the beast, the 1000 years with Christ, and so on.
