A Call to a Life of Reverence - A Worship Encounter

Our Sunday service on 19th September, 2021, will remain an unforgettable Sunday service.

What started as a usual Sunday church service turned into tears, fear, trembling repentance and intimate worship as the service took a different turn when I stood to cut the worship. When I was about to stop the worship session, God rebuked me and asked me why I am stopping the saints and robbing Him off of His worship. To show me the gravity of the mistake I was about to make, He wanted to break my leg but God showed me mercy, however, and instructed me to look down. I didn’t believe what He had done. I saw that He had torn my left shoe instead as a sign of the expression of His anger. I wept bitterly in my heart and I promised God the Father that we will never again rob Him off His worship.

I, then, urged the church on the essence of worship and on how God looks at it.

Extracting from Exodus 34 verse 14, I taught the church that when it comes to worship, God changes His name— He becomes Jealous. And that He doesn't want the church to exchange moments of worship for anything in this life rest they provoke Him to jealousy and anger.

“Anything to do with the worship of God has no excuse or substitute. Don’t trade your place and time of worship with anything.” I emphasized.

It Starts from Within! - Monday, 27th September, 2021

”Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 KJV

Real growth starts from within you. True progress in any area, be it in your finances, career, ministry, marriage et cetera emanates from the inside.

This means that if you begin to chase for growth on the outside without looking at what’s happening inside—deep within you— you are wasting your time and you are just beating the air.

Outside growth is supposed to be the manifestation of growth in your spirit. That’s how God in His surpassing and eternal wisdom meant it to be.

If you don’t allow the Spirit of the Lord to work something in your spirit then you are not ready to experience any changes on the outside.

PRAYER

Precious Father, in the name of Jesus, I yield my heart to the ministry of your Word and to the workings of the Holy Spirit. I know it’s through those that You are able to produce the best within me that will culminate into true growth and progress I desire.

Do Not Replace God! - Monday, 20th September, 2021

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:" Exodus 34:14 KJV

Anything else that has to do with worshipping God has no substitute or excuse. Many are the times that we foolishly forsake and replace the place of worship with our daily endeavors. God doesn't want you and me to replace Him with anything else. Your job, money, wife or husband should never take the place of God in your life.

What provokes God to anger and jealousy is when man replaces the place of worship with something else. That is the reason we are asked not to worship any other god in the opening Scripture above.

Living right with God means that you place Him where He is supposed to be. You will provoke God's anger if you take on other ‘gods’ and replace them with Him. God takes it ‘personal’, so to say, and finds ways of venting out His anger over your life when you worship ‘other’ gods.

PRAYER

Father thank You for this light of Your Word. I come back to You now and I remove everything, I might have picked up on the way, that replaces You. I choose to worship You and You only. My job, my business, my family or anything else cannot take Your place in my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.

SEEDS OF VICTORY With Apostle Joseph Ziba

It’s But for a Moment - Monday, 13th September, 2021

”For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” 2 Corinthians 4:17 KJV

In Genesis 15 verse 13, God revealed to Abram (Abraham) that his seed will be in slavery in Egypt for 400 years. The same God revealed to Prophet Jeremiah and Daniel understood of the same that the Children of Israel will be in captivity in Babylon for 70 years (Daniel 9:2). God was so exact on how long the Israelites were to suffer. They were not supposed to be slaves and be afflicted forever.

The verses above signify to us that affliction to a child of God is not supposed to be forever. In fact, it is wrong and illegal for a child of God to be in torment for the rest of his or her life. Each and every form of affliction has an expiry date. No wonder Apostle Paul, in the opening Scripture above, confidently professes that the affliction he experienced was not only light but also for a moment. He understood that he wasn’t meant to be afflicted forever. Praise God!

What form of affliction are you in now? Is it joblessness, sicknesses and diseases, barrenness, retardation in business, failure et cetera ? All those are only for a moment. Don’t allow them to become part and parcel of your life.

The good news is that in the New Testament, you can set an expiration date for your affliction. You can believe God for a miracle and declare an end to your affliction even right now. The choice is all yours!

PRAYER

I now know that I am not meant to suffer for ever. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your goodness. I declare an end to my affliction right now, in the Mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Key of Stewardship - Monday, 6th September, 2021

”Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. Luke 16:10 NIV

In the Scriptures, spiritual growth [the degree of trust from God] is not necessarily the factor of effort but stewardship or how trustworthy you are. That’s why the Bible says that the race is not for the swift nor the battle for the strong. (Ecclesiastes 9:11).

Actually, if God wants to bless you in a certain area He will have to prove your trustworthiness first. For instance, God can’t give you true riches unless you prove your faithfulness on how you handle the unrighteous mammon [material things].

It’s also said that if you aren’t faithful with what belongs to someone else, the Lord won’t give you something of your own. (Luke 16:12).

You see, God operates on the principle of stewardship. Thus, if you want a promotion in any area, whether business, career, job and finances and what have you, prove to God of your good stewardship in those areas.

A good steward is an individual who manages someone’s affairs with discretion and diligence. They handle someone’s affairs wholeheartedly as their own. No wonder God gets attracted to them and He trusts and promotes them.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, thank You for opening my eyes to this principle of stewardship. I am committing myself to operate under such a principle in every area of my life and in everything I do. This is truly the secret for progress and promotion, in Jesus Name. Amen!

WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER 2021
MY MONTH OF SITTING ON THE THRONE OF GRACE

Throne speaks of the seat of power, and grace refers to the unmerited favour. Sitting on the throne of grace, speaks of rising to the place of power by the Grace.

The bible tells us of Joseph, whom under normal circumstances was not supposed to become second to Pharaoh because, firstly, he was a foreigner, secondly, he was a slave and thirdly, he was a prison convict, and these were enough factors to disqualified him to seat on the Throne.

Grace as unmerited favour, causes you to rise to the place of power not because of your qualifications but because the force favour has taken you to the place.

In this month of September, there is an exaltation of grace on your life, you will rise to power by the power of Grace. Grace will cause you to be found in places where you do not qualify, be conscious of this that you will have something not expected of you because the power of grace is putting you on top.

Everyday you wake up, and where ever you will be, speak to your self and walk in conscious of this that in this month, there is special oil on your life to cause you to rise and rule by the power of grace, you will walk in territories that you will be the least qualified person, and some that you do not qualify at all. It shall happen with your life in this month of September. In Jesus Name!

SEEDS OF VICTORY With Apostle Joseph Ziba

He Gives ‘Extra’ Abilities - Monday, 30th August, 2021

”And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” Joel 2:28 KJV

In every field and in everything that you do, there’s what God can give that will cause you to go and do beyond your human skill-- there’s that which God can do that will cause you to have an extra ability in any field or occupation. If you are a tailor, for instance, there’s what the Spirit of the Lord can impart in you that will distinguish you from other tailors.

The outpouring of the Holy Ghost in these last days is for an invasion. It is a divine strategy for taking over the kingdoms of this world. He doesn’t want to spare anyone in any field. Thus, He says “I will pour out MY SPIRIT upon ALL FLESH...” (Emphasis added).

Don’t be a mere accountant, engineer, architect, teacher, tailor, marketer et cetera; cry before God for an extra ability of the Spirit in those areas and you will surely dominate.

PRAYER

Precious Father, in the name of Jesus. I know that there’s that which You can do to a man that will distinguish him from the rest. I am opening up my spirit, right now. Touch me and mould me to become the best in my field.In Jesus Name.Amen

Look Beyond Your Job! - Monday, 23rd August, 2021

”And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26 KJV

Image and likeness produce dominion. When you know who you are and what you are capable of doing, you’ll surely dominate in this life. Contrariwise, if you don’t know who you are and your capacity you can’t walk in dominion in any area.

Failure to understand one’s image and likeness is what has blinded many people and made them think that their jobs are all there is. They attach their prosperity to their monthly salaries. No wonder, when they get fired from their jobs they conclude that that’s the end of their lives. That’s a wrong mindset.

You must understand that there’s a big difference between what you are supposed to do (your work from God—your abilities) and your job. Don’t entirely put your trust in your job. Look inward and see what God endowed in you for it is that which will give you true satisfaction and true prosperity. Just so you know, God in His plans has got nothing to do with another person employing you. Therefore, don’t be limited by your job. There’s more in you!

One wise man said _”Every man retires from their job but not from their work.”_ How true! Your work, not your job, is who you are and there’s no retirement from who you are.

You are a man or woman with the highest potential, therefore, don’t limit yourself to someone employing you!

PRAYER

Thank You Father for opening my eyes to the truth of your Word. I know I am beyond my job. Therefore, I won’t limit myself to my job. Open my eyes to see the treasures that You buried in me. In Jesus Name. Amen.

God Knows Where You Should Shine - Monday, 16th August, 2021

”Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:15-16 KJV

The problem with some people whom God has given gifts or talents is that they are too busy looking for a platform where to shine and neglecting what really is of great importance. It’s very sad.

You need to understand that if God is truly working in you, He has already set a platform for you to shine. The God who gave you that talent or gift knows where it is relevant. DON’T LOOK FOR A PLATFORM for your gift or talent. LOOK FOR THE GOD who gave you that gift for He is the one who decides and can direct where exactly your gift or talent should shine. You must reappraise your focus!

The God who ‘lights you up’ also positions you for your shining so that He should take the glory thereof. This is what our opening Scripture above is emphasizing. You see, your gift is more of God’s concern than yours. Relax and seek Him the more and He’ll show you where you need to shine.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the light of Your Word. All my talents and gifts are Yours; I am only a steward of Your manifold grace. I know that the platform for my shining is already set. Direct me where my talent will be relevant and impactful. In Jesus name, Amen!

The Prevailing Word - Monday, 9th August, 2021

”So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.“ Acts 19:20 KJV

The Word of God always works. When it seemingly doesn’t work for you, don’t convince yourself that it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn’t. If you don’t see the Word working in your health, ministry, career, family and finances it should tell you that it hasn’t grown enough to the extent of prevailing.

To prevail means to have the most appeal or influence. It is proving more powerful or superior— it is being forceful. When the Word grows, it prevails and produces visible and tangible results in the life of an individual. Hence, you must take a personal initiative of growing the Word in you to see its impact in all spheres of your life.

Frequently meditating and confessing the Word of God is one way of making the Word to grow and prevail. This was what made Joshua a success (Joshua 1:8).

There’s no situation that can withstand the prevailing Word. What areas do you want to change in your life? What progress and how much of it do you desire? Simply grow the Word in you and it will prevail and produce a 360 degrees success in you!

PRAYER

Precious Father, in the glorious name of Jesus, thank You for showing me that success is a choice and that it solely depends on me. I commit myself to the studying, mediating and confessing of your Word on a daily basis since I know that that’s the secret for harnessing the power of the Word that always prevails.
