With a heavy heart, Chibavi Baptist Church wishes to announce the death of Pastor Rodney Banda of Karonga Baptist Church. Prior to the call for the role of Pastor, Banda was a long and dedicated Church elder for Chibavi Baptist Church. On 30th April, 2023 the Church held a farewell function for him as he was leaving Chibavi Baptist to assume his new role at Karonga Baptist Church.

Unfortunately, today the 21st July, 2023 Chibavi Baptist held another farewell for Banda, the farewell that will make members see him no more.

May the Soul of Pastor Rodney Banda rest in everlasting peace
