HOW TO HAVE A SUCCESSFUL AND LONG-LASTING MINISTRY?
-Ministry is designed to be successful and long-lasting (Col 4:17) and there are almost three areas to put emphasis in order to have a longlasting and successful ministry and these are. (1)Doctrine maturity (2)Ministry maturity and (3)Character maturity.
-these three areas will make your ministry successful and long-lasting..today let's start by looking at the first area which is the doctrinal maturity.
(1)Doctrine Maturity
What is doctrine?
Greek =didaskalia - which means teaching/s
- a doctrine is a set of principles to follow or a teaching /knowledge /pattern to follow.
-It's very important to understand any doctrine and to have a clear understanding before we we start to practice or teach others.
•2 Timothy 3:16 kjv
ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, AND IS PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
-Please understand this “any pastor or minister who underrate the doctrine area will fail in ministry” and can not be trusted by his massages..or by his ministry.
-Any church or ministry must be beilt on doctrine, You don't have to build your Church on gifts of the Holy Spirit.
-The doctrine must be from the Bible and Christ Jesus as well as His finished works, because the Bible is the written word while Jesus is the incarnate word.
•St. John 1:1 kjv
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
-Our doctrine comes from the written word and the Church is beilt on the revelation of God.
•St. Matthew 16: kjv
[16] And Simon Peter answered and said, THOU ART THE CHRIST, the Son of the living God.[18] And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH.
-Our doctrine should start from the finished works of Christ (1Corinth3:11).
-When we grow in the doctrine of Jesus Christ and his finished works we will attain maturity, Which is doctrine maturity (Acts 20:27-30)... To be continued!!.
