Verse: Isaiah 45:2

'I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.'
- The Lord can prepare the way ahead of you and clear the obstacles.
- Mountains of opposition, are no challenge to the Lord.
- What seems like insurmountable odds, He can deal with and remove!
- Watch as He levels your mountains and removes the gates.
PRAYER: Lord, what a joy it is to know that You go before me. You are my miracle working, mountain leveling, all-powerful God. Amen.

Verse: Matthew 1:23

'...and they shall call His name Emmanuel - which, when translated, means, God with us.'
- The greatest joy that humanity can know is the knowledge that God is with us.
- This fact changes the very dynamic of our lives.
- You are not alone and you do not need to make it on your own.
- He is with you and His name, Emmanuel, is the guarantee, regardless of your situation.

PRAYER: Lord, what a joy it is to know that You are with me. Right now, in this very moment, at this point in my life, regardless of my circumstances, You are with me and I am not alone. Amen.

Verse: 2 Corinthians 4:17
'For our light and temporary affliction is producing for us an eternal glory that far outweighs our troubles.'
- No experience that we ever go through in life is ever wasted.
- Even the difficult and challenging aspects are something the Lord will use.
- He is at work within each one of us producing something of 'eternal glory'.
- Let Him complete His work so that You can be a testimony of His workmanship.

PRAYER: Lord, thank You that You are always at work within us even when we are faced with things we would rather have avoided. You are the One who takes all these things and works them out for our good. Amen.

Verse: Psalm 69:18 (MSG)

'Come close, God; get me out of here. Rescue me from this death-trap.'

- When we face challenges we need the Lord to be close to us.
- He promises to be close to the broken-hearted.
- We can also believe that He will step in and rescue us.
- He will never abandon us to destruction.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray that You will be close to me at this time and may I enjoy Your presence daily as You work things out for my good and rescue me. Amen.

'Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.'

- 'Greater things' are part of His plan for our lives.
- You and I are instruments in the hands of God.
- He wants to use our lives to bring Him honour and glory.
- Let us believe and be ready to step out in faith.

PRAYER: Lord, I declare that I believe in You. I realise that without You I can do nothing, but with You I am able to do the greater things You promised. Amen.

Verse: Isaiah 26:9

'My soul yearns for You in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for You.'

- Throughout each season of life we should nurture our longing for God.
- We should never allow our hearts to become hardened.
- In response to our longings the Lord will lead and guide us.
- Seek Him, pursue Him and desire more of Him.

PRAYER: Lord, my heart and my soul cries out for more of You. May I know Your presence in my life today and each day that lies ahead. Amen.

Get Empowered
Let me water the dry ground today my child. For it does not take long for your spirit to become thirsty and dry. The problems of life and the struggles you face quickly take away the goodness and the anointing in your life. That is why I call you to my presence once again.
To drink deep from me and to experience my love and joy once again. In the world you will often have tribulation, but be of good cheer, because I have overcome the world! I have overcome it with my power and when you come to me you can partake of that power. This is not something that you can only taste of once, but you can take hold of it again and again.
If you would only take time aside with me to hear my voice and to reach out to me, you would be watered and empowered again. So when the tribulation comes and you feel dry, it is time to run to me child. It is time to embrace me and to allow me to fill you up once again. As I do this, you will grow stronger.
The more you do it, the stronger you will become. Right now you might look at your circumstances and feel overwhelmed by them, but just a bit of my power will give you what you need to overcome. So do not just come to me when times are difficult, but come to me especially when times are easy so that I can prepare you for the tribulations up ahead.
When you come to me all for the time to be empowered, then no matter what happens, you will always be ready and will be able to overcome, says the Lord. Amen

Verse: Mark 10:16

'He took the children in His arms, placed His hands on them and blessed them.'
- The Lord wants to come and take you in His arms.
- Let Him put His arms around you today.
- May you feel His love and presence in a special way!
- May you know that because He is in your life, you are blessed!

PRAYER: Lord, as Your child, I pray that You will surround me with Your love and that Your hand of blessing will rest on my life. Amen.

Verse: Psalm 130:2

'Lord, hear my voice. Let Your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.'

- The Lord is the One to turn to for the relief you are looking for.
- He is the One who hears and listens to our cries for help.
- Perhaps you think He doesn't hear, but He always does.
- In His time and in His way He always answers.

PRAYER: O Lord, hear my voice and may Your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy and help. Amen.

Verse: Psalm 68:20

'Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death.'

- Your God is the One who wants to save and rescue you.
- He wants to lift you out of the pit of despair.
- He wants to pick you up out of the miry clay.
- He wants to rescue you and place your feet on the Rock.

PRAYER: Lord, You are the One who can come and pick me up and out of those things that try to bring me down. Move in my situation I pray. Amen.

Verse: Psalm 37:23

'The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.'

- How awesome to think that the Lord delights in us.
- Every detail of our lives is a priority to Him.
- He knows what you are facing.
- And He wants to come and direct, lead and guide you.

PRAYER: Lord, direct my steps today I pray. Lead me, guide me and show me which way You want me to go. Amen.
