How to live a righteous life

1. Deny yourself (Matthew 16:24)
"Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.'"
Righteousness starts with putting Jesus first, not our own wants.

2. Separate from what pulls you away from God (2 Corinthians 6:17)
"Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."
God isn’t calling us to hate people, but to not be shaped by values that contradict Him.

3. Have discipline
"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." _(2 Timothy 1:7)_
Spiritual disciplines : prayer, Word, fasting, obedience .
Train our hearts to walk in righteousness.

4. Create deep intimacy with God
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." (James 4:8)
Righteousness flows from relationship. Time in prayer, worship, and listening makes His ways natural to us.

5. Give sacrifice to God (Job 1:5 / Romans 12:1)
Job offered sacrifices for his family. "Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God .This is your true and proper worship." Job 1:5
Righteous living is daily surrender — our time, resources, and will to Him.
