_______PRAY FOR US 🧎♂️🙏______
(2 Thes 3:1 - 5)
The book of Thessalonica was written by apostle Paul who was anointed by Jesus Christ with Spirit and fire. Paul was highly anointed to the point that his aprons and handkerchief were able to heal the sick and raise someone from the dead. The man who once bitten by poisonous snake by didn't die, this is the one who was given a name called Zeus (father of all gods). In short we can simply say Paul was the gigantic man in the Lord. Therefore, through above scriptures we are enlightened that:
From Verse 1
- No matter how anointed you might be but still more you need someone's prayer to sustain you, here anointed Paul is asking prayers from Thessalonians to pray for him.
- You should pray for us (us here means servants of God), yes! You should pray for us that the word of God should touch lives with swift as we preach to people.
- You should pray for us that word of God should be glorified hence we are preaching Jesus Christ crucified.
From Verse 2
- Pray for us that God should deliver us from wicked men. These are kind of people who mocks the servants of God, turning the gospel into laughter. God should deliver us from their reproach because some have no faith.
From Verses 3,4
- Men of God should trust their followers, these including spiritual sons and daughters just to mention but a few. As long as they are serving God under you, must be trusted just as Jesus Christ trusted Judas Iscariot to go and pray for the sick. Paul is trusting the Thessalonians to do whatever they have commanded.
From Verse 5.
This is the Paul's prayer to us that We should do things out of love. We should be praying for each other as we are waiting for coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Waiting isn't easy, it demands perseverance.
Pray for Us as We pray for You 🌻❤
