​Meet Our Deacons

​Charles Msimbi
Charles has been a steady pillar of our church family for years. His commitment to service is matched only by his love for his family. We are blessed to have him, his wife Jane, and their daughter Madalitso walking this journey with us.

​Patrick Chiwalo
A face familiar to us all, Patrick has defined what it means to be a "faithful servant." Having spent the last year serving as our Pastoral intern, his transition into the diaconate is a natural extension of his deep-rooted passion for the Gospel and our congregation.

​What This Means for Our Church
​The office of Deacon is one of service, compassion, and practical leadership. By ordaining Charles and Patrick, we are affirming:
​Consistency: Their years of "behind-the-scenes" work now have an official home.
​Growth: Our leadership team is strengthening to better serve your needs.
​Community: We are a church that recognizes and honors the gifts of its members.

It was a wonderful day at church. Brother Edwin preached on Matthew 6:9, and the theme of the sermon was "Honoring God as Father." It was a continuation of the sermon preached a few weeks ago. The video below is a summary of the message.

What a powerful and meaningful sermon today as Brother Patrick preached from Psalm 1:1–6, focusing on the path to true happiness. He emphasized that genuine joy is found not in external circumstances, but in the choices we make and the influences we allow to shape our lives. The key points were:

1. Do not follow the advice of the wicked – Be discerning about who you listen to; not all counsel leads to life.

2. Do not place yourself in situations that compromise your holiness – Guard your heart by being intentional about where you go and what you entertain.

3. Do not join in the mockery of God – Stay away from attitudes and environments that belittle truth and righteousness.

Ultimately, the message was a call to examine the source of our influence. Are our actions and decisions shaped by the Word of God, or by the world around us? The blessed life, Psalm 1 reminds us, is rooted in delighting in and meditating on God’s Word—day and night.

What a beautiful day we had yesterday! Our hearts are full after spending a meaningful counseling day with the kids.

To better minister to each one, we divided them into smaller groups, and it was a true blessing to connect with them on a personal level. God was our constant help, guiding every conversation and speaking powerfully through the reading of Scripture.

It was a day filled with connection and God's grace.

We were truly blessed by Brother Edwin Mwale, who delivered a powerful sermon on the Fatherhood of God Drawing from the beautiful truths found in Matthew 6:5-15, he reminded us of God's perfect love, and care for us as His children.
