Was God only partially satisfied with the payment Jesus made for sins? Or was God fully satisfied where the payment made by his son for the sins of the world are concerned? When you think of Propitiation, think of payment satisfaction, because propitiation means just that, full satisfaction. Not only did Jesus cry out: “It is finished” from the tree of crucifixion, meaning his death for sins, his payment for sins was being brought to a conclusion, he could make that statement because he had fully accomplished what he had set out to do. Of course, that doesn’t mean that the world Jesus redeemed will accept the Redeemer, or the truth of their redemption for that matter so they can be placed into the Savior, Heaven worthy, at that point. The key word expression in connection with Paul’s teaching on Redemption: It would be delivered through ransom; deliverance through a ransom price, 1 Timothy 2:6.

Many of our audience are from a Christian background. Have you ever considered the fact Jesus did not simply confirm the religion he was brought up in - he shattered it as he uniquely reinterpreted it. Consequently, he renewed it. To follow Jesus implies that I cannot simply settle into the religion and traditions I was born into. Even if that tradition is based on interpretations of Jesus’ teachings. I have to recognize what is valuable and radically break from what has grown old and stale. What was relevant and alive for generations past has a tendency to become lifeless idols. “Why do you seek the living among the dead?,” the angel asks in the book of Luke. Why do you seek life in repetitious rituals, in attending yet another meeting to hear the same old boring interpretations/stories, sing the same old songs to try and reproduce the goosebumps you felt 20 years ago. Rather follow Jesus and overturn the tables of a religion that has lost its essence.

In reality, we have very little control over our emotions, but we do have control over our thoughts and our thoughts determine our feelings and our responses. If what we believe doesn't reflect truth, then what we feel doesn’t reflect reality. When we believe what we feel instead of the truth, how will our ministry of reconciliation be? As inconsistent as our feelings. The important process of renewing our mind includes managing our emotions by managing our thoughts and perceptions. Satan and his forces are always hurling their fiery darts of fear, doubt and worry in our direction, but the only time they can hit us is when we let our shield of faith down. A shield deflects; it keeps the darts of the enemy away from our mind, the shield moves with the attack. When we allow doubt to creep in, an actively raised shield of faith prevents this otherwise inhibiting fatigue, so the shield is the first line of defense, the enemy has to get past the shield first.

Obey! Obey! Obey! How many times have we heard this preached at us? We are often told that we need to obey in order for God to be happy. Or we need to obey in order to be right with God. But that is a lie! The message of the gospel is not about our obedience; the message of the gospel is about Jesus’ obedience on our behalf.

We are made righteous because of Jesus, not because of how well we obey. We don’t obey God in order to be made righteous, we obey God because we are righteous. Put another way, we don’t obey for acceptance, we obey from the acceptance we already have in Christ.

Think about it, we did nothing to become sinners, we were born that way because of Adam. In the same way, we did nothing to become righteous, we’re reborn (made) that way because of Christ. Our identity is given to us apart from what we do. It is a gift. We are righteous apart from our works.

Here is your true identity Christian!

What did Jesus save Christians to become? He made us all to be sons of God. When Christ moves into your Spirit (temple) He give us, His righteousness, holiness, perfection, glory and salvation. From Christ's standpoint, you have need of nothing. Why? You have Him living in you. You will never hunger and thirst again. IF, you know your "Identity In Christ" there will never be another identity thief.

Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. (The power is the trinity is coming to live in your spirit in oneness.)
1Jn 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. (God lives in us.)
1Jn 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. (The Holy Spirit lives in us.)
1Jn 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. (Christ lives in us in the person of Salvation. Gal. 2:20)
1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. (The points is you just can't separate the trinity of God. If the Holy Spirit is coming to live with you so is the Father and Son.)
Joh 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. (That we might be one and live in God, in Jesus and the Holy Spirit as they (trinity) lives in oneness together.)
Joh 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: (We live in Christ in God, and in the Holy Spirit. Can't separate the trinity it is a package of three in one with different function. It is like water, liquid and a gas being different forms but yet water.
