Praise God With What You Have
On March 7, 2026, Chipasula Secondary School became a place of joy, music, and powerful messages as the ULISDAC Club hosted a wonderful music program under the theme “Praise God With What You Have.”
From the early hours of the morning, people began to arrive. Roads from every direction seemed to lead to Chipasula Secondary School. Young people, elders, and visitors walked with excitement, knowing that the day would be special. By afternoon, the venue was completely full. Not a single seat was left empty. The atmosphere was alive with expectation.
Many respected guests attended the event, including Ps Jag Phiri, Ps Thawatha, Elder Chiwotha, Elder Dr Chibambo, and Elder F. Mandala, among many others.
The music that filled the air was beautiful and powerful. It was the kind of music that made the ears refuse to be deaf and the heart refuse to be silent. Every song carried a message of hope and praise. Performances came from Young Heralds, Kawale Senior Youth Choir, the Chipasula Secondary School ULISDAC Choir, and other talented groups. Their voices blended like flowing rivers of harmony, lifting every heart toward heaven.
One of the most powerful moments came when Pastor Thawatha, the Chilinde District Pastor, stood at the pulpit. The crowd grew quiet as he began to speak about the theme “Praise God With What You Have.”
He shared a message from Gospel of Mark Chapter 12, about the poor widow who gave two small coins. Many rich people gave large offerings, yet they still had plenty left. But the widow gave everything she had. Her gift was small in the eyes of people, but great in the eyes of God because she gave it with all her heart.
Pastor Thawatha reminded everyone that God does not measure our gifts by their size, but by the love and sacrifice behind them.
He encouraged the youth not to limit their service to singing, praising, or preaching alone. He said that true praise to God is also shown through actions; helping the sick,
