During our last ULISDAC Annual Conference, we were blessed to have Pastor T.Y. Nyirenda, who delivered a powerful message on how young people can be responsible citizens.
One word for Pastor T.Y. Nyirenda:

ULISDAC on Friday successfully launched a National Bible Quiz for both university and secondary school students at LUANAR City Campus. The event was graced by the ULISDAC Club President, Dr. Cassius Chiwambo, Evangelism Coordinator Brother Prince Soko, and the matron, Madam Makugwa from Barracks.
The competition featured four groups in a lively and engaging session of questions. Team Hebrews emerged victorious, taking home K100,000, while Team Revelation secured second place with K50,000. The remaining teams received K30,000 and K20,000 respectively.
Speaking during the launch, the President encouraged students to be “people of the Book,” emphasizing that as Adventists, our identity is rooted in knowing the Word of God. He urged participants to cultivate a habit of daily Bible study, treating it as spiritual nourishment.
The quiz is set to roll out to other colleges and universities, with the aim of strengthening Bible knowledge among Adventist students. It is not a competition, but a platform to inspire a deeper connection with God’s Word.

Praise God With What You Have

On March 7, 2026, Chipasula Secondary School became a place of joy, music, and powerful messages as the ULISDAC Club hosted a wonderful music program under the theme “Praise God With What You Have.”

From the early hours of the morning, people began to arrive. Roads from every direction seemed to lead to Chipasula Secondary School. Young people, elders, and visitors walked with excitement, knowing that the day would be special. By afternoon, the venue was completely full. Not a single seat was left empty. The atmosphere was alive with expectation.

Many respected guests attended the event, including Ps Jag Phiri, Ps Thawatha, Elder Chiwotha, Elder Dr Chibambo, and Elder F. Mandala, among many others.

The music that filled the air was beautiful and powerful. It was the kind of music that made the ears refuse to be deaf and the heart refuse to be silent. Every song carried a message of hope and praise. Performances came from Young Heralds, Kawale Senior Youth Choir, the Chipasula Secondary School ULISDAC Choir, and other talented groups. Their voices blended like flowing rivers of harmony, lifting every heart toward heaven.

One of the most powerful moments came when Pastor Thawatha, the Chilinde District Pastor, stood at the pulpit. The crowd grew quiet as he began to speak about the theme “Praise God With What You Have.”

He shared a message from Gospel of Mark Chapter 12, about the poor widow who gave two small coins. Many rich people gave large offerings, yet they still had plenty left. But the widow gave everything she had. Her gift was small in the eyes of people, but great in the eyes of God because she gave it with all her heart.

Pastor Thawatha reminded everyone that God does not measure our gifts by their size, but by the love and sacrifice behind them.

He encouraged the youth not to limit their service to singing, praising, or preaching alone. He said that true praise to God is also shown through actions; helping the sick,

NURTURING LITTLE MINDS FOR HEAVEN

When we read the Bible, we find many passages about young men and women who were faithful and worked for God's kingdom. We read about the young girl who directed Naaman to the prophet so that he could be healed, and about the four Hebrew boys who, even in their youth, remained faithful and praised God with all they had while living in a foreign land. In the same way, we as young people are pilgrims in this world. Yet the Lord has placed us here to be the light and the salt of the earth so that through our lives others may come to know Christ. As Jesus Himself said, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” (Matthew 5:14). Therefore, our lives should shine in such a way that others may see Christ through us. ✨📖
