CONTINUATION OF "REVIVAL IS AWAITING TRUE REPENTANCE"

Last time we looked at the first Hebrew word for repentance TESHUVAH which i said its the turning away from sin and returning to God(the image of God)

The other Hebrew word for repentance is NACHAM(Chisoni chodza chifukwa cha tchimo) to feel sorrow,regret over sin.

The Greek word is METANOIA which means change of heart and mind.

Both the turning away and the change of heart happen when sorrow for sin comes in.

Before the fall of Man,Man knew no good and evil.When sin came it brought disconnection between God and Man.

The coming of Christ was to bring back or to reconnect man with God through Him the Lamb of God.

REVIVAL IS AWAITING TRUE REPENTANCE

The kingdom of God is not the Church but the Church is a tool for the kingdom of God.This means God relies on the Church to bring forth souls to His kingdom.

But the Church today lacks the power of conviction hence no revival.Revival only happens where there is true repentance that leads to the remission of sin.

The Hebrew word for repentance is TESHUVAH which means turning away from sin and returning to God.This means to go back to the image of God(Imago Dei in Latin).This is the image of a sinless man before the fall of man.

AIM TO BE GOD'S VESSEL OF BLESSING TO HIS PEOPLE

2 Timothy 2:20-21 NLT
[20] In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, and the cheap ones are for everyday use. [21] If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

[9] For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.

Kindness is not one of the most spoken about characters of a christian its mostly overshadowed by the word Love,but these two are different characters or attributes on their own.Though it is a byproduct of Love it can on its own be distinct.

In Greek chrēstótēs It describes a soft, benevolent, gracious character that expresses itself in merciful actions.

Simply its to do with expressions of merciful actions.

Most Christians fall behind when it comes to merciful actions.

Today i want to encourage someone to live a life of kindness,a life that should be moved by other's situations and conditions.A life that should be prompted to intervene when others suffer to help with their suffering.

Stop living a selfish life of only wanting to be the center of attraction in a community,make a difference in silence and kindness in other people's lives.

Fix your heart for God is looking for vessels to bless His people,allow God to bless you for His people.
