WALKING IN GREATNESS WITH APOSTLE VITUMBIKO MKANDAWIRE
One of the most painful things is when some people are born for greatness, but they can never walk in the greatness they were born for.
Secrets for you to walk in greatness;
1. Be Teachable — 1 Kings 1:5–6
If you want to walk in greatness, are you teachable?
Look at Adonijah, who had a great ambition to become king, but he could not become it because he was not teachable.
You were born for greatness. You may be destined to marry someone great, but God cannot risk it because you have never been mentored. You are someone that even when you do wrong, nobody can report you to your own father because your own father fears you.
Nobody has succeeded in teaching you. Are you teachable?
A lot of you only have parts of a man, but you have never been mentored as a man. Do you have someone who mentors you in the Word of God?
A lot of you have failed to walk in greatness because you have never been mentored.
Sometimes greatness came, but it found you unmentored and unteachable.
Greatness imabwera, koma imapeza kuti ndinu anthu osaphunzisika.
Whenever you are an unteachable person like Adonijah, there is a certain behavior that you show.
You can see people losing connections because of money. If there is something that should be easy to come from you, it should be money.
Is there anything about you that makes people say, “We pray that God can uplift you”?
There is surely a certain behavior in you that can prevent greatness from working in your life.
You pray that God should bless you, but it cannot happen because you have never been taught. There is no humanity in you.
Lord, teach me so that when You open another door, I should be able to handle it.
2. Be a Person of Honor — Mark 6:4–5
Some of you, greatness has been far from you because you cannot honor anyone.
When you have the spirit of dishonor, honor does not come to you. Some of you have nothing, but you still cannot honor anyone.
An old person can make many mistakes, but no matter how big their mistakes are, you should still have honor for that person.
When honor is not present in a generation, blessings leave.
When honor has left, judgment follows.
Look at Jesus in that area. Because there was no honor in that area, Jesus did not perform many miracles there.
Is honor part of you?
Are you like the children of Noah who, after seeing their father naked, started laughing at him? Are you someone with honor?
One of the most dangerous things in our lives on this earth is dishonor. Even Jesus could no longer perform many miracles in places where there was no honor.
If you start dishonoring your apostle, pastor, or bishop, greatness in your life can stop.
The worst generation is this one. Even those people who have committed many mistakes, those who have done so many things, but as a man of God, you stop honoring them after hearing one rumor about them.
This generation has no honor.
Pastors and apostles are busy prophesying to people who do not even honor them.
Be a different Christian.
Why is everyone whom God can use to help us a suspect in your eyes?
Learn to honor people.
You have never been great because what came out of you was dishonor.
Mind your business. If people are making mistakes, God has His own ways of dealing with them. What you need to do is honor them.
The most painful thing is to know who you should have been, but never become it.
Some people take pleasure when men of God are being dishonored. You become very happy when you see it.
Learn to honor people, because greatness requires character, humility, teachability, and honor.
