*✨✨ Closing Reflection: Walking with the Guardian of Our Souls*

Go forth with the confidence that you are known by name. Just as the first believers at Pentecost were "cut to the heart" and moved to action, let your recognition of the Shepherd’s voice move you to live differently this week. You do not have to climb the walls of life through self-reliance; you need only walk through Christ, the Gate, to find the pasture you seek. May His goodness and kindness follow you every step of the way until we meet again.

In the week ahead, let the words of our *Responsorial Psalm* be your shield. When the "dark valleys" of work, family stress, or spiritual exhaustion loom, remember that the Shepherd’s rod and staff are active tools of protection. He has already prepared a table for you in the sight of your fears. Your task is simply to remain in His fold, refusing to follow the "voice of strangers" that leads to scarcity, and instead trusting the Voice that leads to restful waters.

As we close our session, we take heart in the truth that we are never solitary wanderers. From St. Peter’s call in the *First Reading* to the promise of the *Gospel*, we see that the Good Shepherd does not just watch us from a distance; He is the "Gate" who stands between us and the thieves of our peace. By His wounds, as the *Second Reading* reminds us, we have been healed and returned to the "Guardian of our souls," shifting our identity from lost sheep to chosen heirs of an abundant life.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)_*

AN INSIGHT TO POPE LENTEN MESSAGE 2025

WHILE WE KEEP PRAYING FOR HIS QUICK RECOVERY

READ FULL MESSAGE IN THIS PAGE

In his 2025 Lenten message titled "Let us journey together in hope," Pope Francis invites the faithful to embark on a collective pilgrimage of conversion, unity, and hope during this sacred season.

Journey of Conversion

Drawing inspiration from the biblical Exodus, the Pope emphasizes that Lent is a time to reflect on our personal and communal journeys toward spiritual renewal. He encourages believers to assess whether they are progressing on this path or remaining stagnant due to fear or complacency. A practical exercise he proposes is to compare our daily lives with those of migrants and refugees, fostering empathy and prompting us to leave behind situations that degrade human dignity.

Journeying Together in Synodality

Pope Francis underscores the importance of community, highlighting that Christians are called to walk alongside one another, embodying the spirit of synodality. He urges the faithful to listen to others, resist self-centeredness, and work collaboratively in various spheres of life, including families, workplaces, and broader society. This collective journey strengthens the unity rooted in our shared identity as children of God.

Journeying in Hope

Central to the Lenten journey is the theme of hope, anchored in the promise of eternal life through Christ's resurrection. The Pope calls for a reflection on our trust in God's mercy and challenges us to embody this hope through commitments to justice, fraternity, and care for our common home. He reminds us that true hope inspires active engagement in building a more inclusive and compassionate world.

In essence, Pope Francis' 2025 Lenten message is a call to embark on a transformative journey marked by personal conversion, communal solidarity, and steadfast hope in God's promises.
