GOFRIL Foundation is an inclusive, grassroots-rooted, and professionally structured non-profit organization based in Dowa District, Malawi. Originally established in 2011 as GOFRIL Ministries, our organization has grown from a faith-based humanitarian outreach into a dynamic development-focused NGO. I

n 2025, we restructured and rebranded as GOFRIL Foundation to expand our reach and adopt a stronger governance model. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities socially and economically through inclusive, community-driven programs that promote dignity, equity, and sustainable development. We currently implement programs in:
• Youth Empowerment & Livelihoods
• Women’s Economic Development
• Education & Literacy (including multilingual and refugee-focused initiatives)
• Health & Psychosocial Support
• Community Engagement & Social Development

GOFRIL Foundation works with both refugee and host communities to deliver locally led, context-specific solutions. Our 2025–2027 strategic vision focuses on sustainable growth, evidence-based programming, and deepening partnerships aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We come to you today with heavy hearts but unshaken determination.
Recently, our GOFRIL FOUNDATION office was severely damaged by heavy rains, and we also faced a heartbreaking theft that left us without essential equipment and materials. On top of this, due to financial constraints, our official website has expired — limiting our ability to reach and serve our community at a time we need it most.
Today, we are reaching out to our global family.
We are seeking urgent support to help us rebuild our office, restore our operations, and renew our digital presence.
Every contribution — big or small — will help us rise again and continue our mission of empowering communities, offering hope, and creating change where it is needed most.
