Today's teaching: Standing Strong in the Face of Opposition

As Christians, we are not immune to challenges and opposition. In fact, Jesus prophesied that we would face persecution and hatred from the world. "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first" (John 15:18), this is what Jesus Christ spoked to his disciples now is speaking to you and me that the world hated him therefore as it hated him is also going to hate you for his name sake. But we are not alone, and we can find strength in God's Word and His promises that he is with us to the end of the age according to Matthew 28:20, Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to go to the whole world teaching and preaching to whole creation to observe all things whatsoever he commanded them: and, lo, for he said i am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

The apostles experienced hardship, pressure, and perplexity, but they were not crushed or in despair. "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair" (2 Corinthians 4:8). They found strength in God's presence and power, and continued to preach the gospel and spread the message of Christ. This allowed them to develop perseverance, character, and hope according to Romans 5: 3-5 which states that "Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."

Paul faced intense persecution, imprisonment, flogging, and death threats, but he did not give up. "I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again" (2 Corinthians 11:23). He found strength in God's grace and power, and continued to share the message of Christ with others. This enabled him to experience God's comfort and consolatio

The today's teaching: Be lead by the holy Spirit

Romans 8: 9-11 and 14

*Verse 14:* "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God."

- This verse highlights the role of the Holy Spirit in guiding believers.
- To be "led by the Spirit" means to be under His control and direction.
- The result is that we are acknowledged as God's children, adopted into His family (Romans 8:15-17).

*Verse 9:* "You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ."

- This verse contrasts the two realms: the flesh (our old nature) and the Spirit (our new nature in Christ).
- If the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we are in the realm of the Spirit, indicating our new identity in Christ.
- The presence of the Spirit is the mark of belonging to Christ.

*Verse 10:* "But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness."

- This verse highlights the dual reality of our existence:
- Our bodies are mortal and subject to death due to sin.
- But the Spirit gives us spiritual life and victory over sin.
- Righteousness refers to our new status in Christ, which brings spiritual life.

*Verse 11:* "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you."

- This verse emphasizes the powerful reality of the Spirit's indwelling:
- The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in us!
- He will also give life to our mortal bodies, ultimately redeeming them in resurrection.

In summary, these verses teach us that:

- The Holy Spirit leads and guides us as God's children.
- We are in the realm of the Spirit if we have the Spirit of Christ.
- The Spirit gives us spiritual life and

The today teaching: living the life of Christ

Second Corinthians 5:5, 15, and 21 are verses from the New Testament of the Bible that address various aspects of the Christian life, including the believer's relationship with God, the purpose of Christ's death, and the ministry of reconciliation.

Second Corinthians 5:5 "Now he who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee."

In this verse, Paul highlights God's role in preparing believers for eternity. The "very thing" refers to the heavenly dwelling mentioned in verse 1. God has given believers the Holy Spirit as a guarantee or down payment, assuring them of their future redemption and heavenly home.

Second Corinthians 5:15: "And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves, but for him who for their sake died and was raised."

Here, Paul emphasizes the purpose of Christ's death: to free believers from living for themselves and instead live for Him. Christ's death and resurrection enable believers to live a new life, no longer focused on self but on serving Him who gave His life for them.

Second Corinthians 5:21: "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

In this verse, Paul states the core message of the gospel: God made Jesus, who was sinless, to take on our sin, so that we might become righteous in God's sight. This verse highlights the concept of substitutionary atonement, where Jesus bore our sin, and we receive His righteousness through faith in Him.

In summary, these verses emphasize:

- God's preparation and guarantee of our heavenly home (5:5)
- Christ's death and resurrection, which enable us to live for Him (5:15)
- The substitutionary atonement, where Jesus took our sin, and we receive His righteousness (5:21)

Thank you Jesus Christ for the life that knows no end that is so abundantly eternal life hallelujah
