The Price for Greatness
Matthew 20:22 | King James Version
"But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able."
It's only salvation that comes free of charge, though when we take a close look it happens as a result of the effort of faith from the sinners side. Jesus paid it all, but the nations are not saved automatically, there is a demand to go into the world and preach the gospel.
Most believers have gotten comfortable thinking things will just appear. This is a great lie from the enemy.
Look up every promise of God in the Bible, attached to it is a command, a sacrifice, an obedience for its manifestation. Nothing is free. It is only accessible to those who are willing to pay the price.
Anointing is not free. It comes as a reward for the service you are rendering before God. When Jesus said all powers in heaven and earth have been given, it wasn't a gift from God, but a reward for His triumph over the devil, death and sin.
You do not become an elder in the spirit because how long you have been in the church or your age, but by the measure of sacrifice you render to God. No wonder God is using young men and women to do great wonders in this last days.
What will set you apart from your fellow church members is the hunger to pay the price. Rise up. Do not give up. Surrender yourself wholly and victory shall be yours in Jesus mighty name.
