SEEDS OF VICTORY

You Can’t Reign as a Slave—Renew Your Thinking
Monday, March 30, 2026
“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” — Revelation 1:6
Our opening verse records that Jesus has made us kings and priests so that we may rule, reign, and subdue. This is our mandate, responsibility, and call in Him. Sadly, many Christians worldwide have not yet grasped this reality. They walk through life with a different mindset and act contrary to this truth.
Many believers see themselves as victims of circumstance, constantly complaining that the world does not dedicate more time and effort to make them happy. They think they are second-class citizens, undeserving of life’s best. They blame systems, structures, and government policies for their inability to live fully in God—a slavery mentality.
It goes against the laws of nature for a man with a slave’s mindset to sit in a place of authority. Kings do not waste time complaining, murmuring, or playing the victim. You cannot rule with that kind of thinking.
Slavery brings deep insecurities, and power in the hands of an insecure man is like a gun in the hands of a trigger‑excited madman.
You can become everything God designed you to be simply by letting the Word renew your mind and instill a kingly mentality. That will elevate you to a place of dominion and rulership.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that guides, rebukes, and empowers. Today I repent of every slavery mentality. I know I am above and not beneath, seated in Christ far above all principalities. I live with the authority of a king, to the glory of Your name. I function fully as what You have made me in Christ Jesus.
