REBELLION IS AS BAD AS WITCHCRAFT
(1Samuel 15:1-26)
The Lord sent Samuel to anoint Saul as king of israel because God had remembered what rhe Amalekites did to them. So God at this time cose Saul as king to lead the war amd distroy comoletly whatever they had and sieze the whole generations. One of the biggest mistakes christians do is that they try to reason with Gods commandment. God told Saul to spate noone but in this chapter we see Saul sparing king Agag wnd the best oxen, lambs, and all that was good an act against what God had commanded him to.
Chriatians tend to have excuses based on their feelings and emotions. Our eyes are widely open to the things of the world and not to the things of the spirit.
David once said, lord your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, this principle if well understood heaven is not far from us, but you see as Saul did, he tried to keep what he was told to destroy, brothers partial disobedience is total disobedience.
The king tried to cheat on the man of God by sag ng that he had done all that he was commanded to, but the prophet had already discerned the lie, (verse 14) and samuel said, what is the meaneth then this bleating of sheep in mine ears and the lowing of the oxen which i hear?. You see, He who formed the eye can never go blind and its quiet unfortunate that we act before his present nce as if he doesnt see or hear.
Saul spared the best sheep, cattles and other domesticated animals for self a interest and not for the goodness of his people.
Gods instruction n was simple, go and invade, fight the battle and come back victorious thats all what these people needed, and not anthing else.
As people of God, lets learn to abide by the word given to us, terms and condition applies.
