𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐌 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐍

⚫️Some people think the greatest problem in the body of Christ today is that of sin, but that’s not true!

—⭐️📖“Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin”
(Romans 6: 6-7).

⚫️When you study the Bible carefully, you’ll discover that the reason Jesus came to die was to deal with the problem of sin.

⚫️As a believer, sin is no longer your problem.

⚫️Many Christians struggle with sin in their lives because they are ignorant of God’s Word.

⚫️The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ brought an end to sin and ushered the believer into a newness of life.

⚫️That’s why the Bible declares that “...sin shall not have dominion over you” (Romans 6:14).

⚫️You may say, “But so-and-so calls himself a Christian and still commits sin!”

⚫️Yes, he may still commit sin, but you see, his problem is not the sin he’s committing, but his ignorance.

⚫️The devil sometimes tries to take advantage of this; he uses it to deceive God’s children into believing that the reason they’re not receiving from God is the sins they’ve committed.

⚫️He makes them feel there are certain blessings they can’t receive because of sin.

⚫️When you come to understand the nature and character of God, you’ll discover He doesn’t answer your prayer or bless you because you’re living right, neither does He refuse to bless you because you’re not.

⚫️Living right is the desire of every child of God, for no true child of God will deliberately want to live in sin.

⚫️Every child of God desires to come out of anything that’s wrong.

⚫️That’s one of the signs by which you can identify a child of God – he’s uncomfortable with sin and doesn’t want to continue in it.

⚫️That’s why when God looks at you He doesn’t see your imperfection.

⚫️As far as He’s concerned, you’re holy, unblameable and unreproveable in His sight (Colossians 1:21-22).

⚫️You may not feel righteous or holy all the time but this is the truth of God’s Word about you.

⚫️Your problem is not sin.

⚫️You must understand this truth and let it soak into your mentality, otherwise it will be difficult for you to develop your faith and make it work.

⚫️When you understand that Jesus died for the propitiation of sin and He’s given you a new life that’s superior to satan, sin becomes a thing of the past.

⚫️Jesus took responsibility, and paid the full penalty for your sins and misdeeds; past, present and future.

📖2 Corinthians 2:10-11 To whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also: for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

☀️Here, the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, highlights the importance of forgiving others, so that Satan doesn’t take advantage of the situation.

☀️It’s the way to allow the peace of Christ to rule in your heart.

🔴You may have a reason to be offended or angry, but Ephesians 4:26 says, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.”

🔴Some have left the church because they were angry, and others have quit their jobs because of anger.

🔴Some have accommodated anger against others for so long, without realizing its destructive effect on their own lives.

🔴Practise the Word.

🔴Don’t retain anger in your heart; give it up quickly.

🔴You may say, “But what so-and-so did against me caused me terrible pain”; it makes no difference. When you’re filled with the Spirit, your heart is ruled with peace and you live joyfully and in love, irrespective of the actions of others.

🔴Read what the Word says in James 5:13: “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray…”; He didn’t say, “Let him fight or be vengeful”; neither did He say, “Let him tell the whole world about it.”

🔴The word “afflicted” in that verse also means to be aggrieved or offended. He says if that happens to you, pray about it. Don’t get troubled and become bitter.

🔴The Bible says, “Be anxious about nothing; in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your request be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6), and His peace will rule in your heart.

📖Colossians 3:13 CEV Put up with each other, and forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you.

QUESTION: Why do Christians face challenges when they already have the life of God? If they face them, who gives the challenges — God or the devil?

ANSWER:

🔵 Jesus already told us: “In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

🔵 As long as you are in this world, there will be challenges. But listen carefully — challenges don’t mean defeat. Problems, difficulties, or trials are not there to destroy you; they are the platforms for your faith to be tested, proven, and glorified.
