The More Sure Word Of Prophecy
2 Peter 1:19 KJV
“We have also a more sure Word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:"
In the ministry over the years, I have received all kinds of people requesting for prayer and seen so many situations. I have met those who have had sicknesses as a result of a ‘prophecy’ they got from someone.
All this is because a general understanding of prophecy is that of having someone see what you can not see. Many people therefore have allowed voices they should not have accepted because they believed in the man that said the words.
I want you to understand that there are two Kingdoms at play every moment of time: the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. If your eyes are set on darkness, there will always be something bad that you see. Much as that is helpful but do check again what God is saying on the same matter.
In the opening scripture, the words "sure word of prophecy" do not mean what everyone assumes. That sure word of prophecy means 'the word of God' - the Bible.
Therefore, any word of prophecy that comes should be measured against the Bible. If it does not align with the word, it should not be considered to be true. Therefore, the word of God remains the first and final source of prophecy for every child of God.
In this way you will stop the voices of evil from speaking into your path of life!
About prophecy, the Lord said if you believe you will prosper and not get sick or weak! (2 Chron 20:20). Therefore, from true prophecy will come success, prosperity and preservation of your life!
May the new season's prophecy of 2023 preserve you and lead your life so that you will indeed validate the claim from the scriptures.
You will truly rise as a witness and make the Word of God become flesh, transform what is in the spirit realm into this physical world.
You are a Truth Interpreter!
PRAYER:
Precious Father, thank You so much for Your Word. Despite the many negative voices in the world, I will cling to and stand by every Word You say. In Jesus name. Amen!
