Luke 9:28-29 About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray. As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning.

*Prayer changes lives and changes situations. Your life and situations cannot remain the same if you truly seek God through prayer. The transfiguration of Jesus Christ happened when He was praying. If you want to see God transforming your life and working on your problems, pray without ceasing. When a believer prays, God touches his life and meets his needs. Remain at the place of prayer so that God should continue working on your life as well as on your problems. Kupereka molowa manja ndi chisankho!

*TODAY’S KEY VERSES 25 APRIL 2026*
Luke 6:12-13 At that time Jesus went to a mountain to pray. He spent the whole night in prayer to God. When it was day, he called his disciples. He chose twelve of them and called them apostles.

*We must seriously pray to God before making decisions and choices. Wise and godly decisions and choices are made when you ask God to guide you. God will not choose or decide for us but if we ask Him He will guide us in making wise and godly decisions and choices. Decisions and choices are powerful enough to build or destroy our lives. What we are today are the outcomes of the decisions and choices which make daily. However If we are not happy with what we are today, we must start thinking and choosing differently. If Jesus Christ prayed before choosing the 12 apostles, this teaches as the importance of prayer in decision making. Therefore we must learn to seriously pray to God before making decisions and choices. “God, help me to pray and fast before making decisions and choices. Amen!”*

*Kudandaula sikumabweretsa mayankho koma kumawonjezera mavuto. Kudandaula kumakuchotsera mtendere wamumtima ndipo umakhala opanda chiyembekezo. Ukasoweka mtendere wamumtima suganiza bwino, zotsatira zake umapanga ziganizo zolokwikwa. Choncho siyani kudandaula ndipo ikani maso anu pa Mulungu amene ali ndi mayankho amavuto onse. Tulani nkhawa zanu zonse kwa Mulungu. Lingalirani za ukulu wa Mulungu ndi chikondi chake. Muyamikeni chifukwa cha mphatso yamoyo ndipo pemphererani zosowa zanu ndi chikhulupiriro. Pempherani ndi kulingalira mawu a Mulungu tsiku ndi tsiku kuti mukhale ndi mtendere wamumtima.*
