The International Secretariat of the ICYCW is pleased to announce the appointment of our new International Chaplain Rev Fr. Christopher Sichinga.

Fr Christopher Sichinga holds a Master's degree in Pastoral theology. He is the Finance administrator and diocesan youth chaplain in the diocese of Mangochi (Malawi).
He is also the former YCW regional chaplain of East Africa

He was appointed by the Vatican through the Dicastery of laity, family and life. His appointment took effect from July 2025 to July 2029. Congratulations Fr, we wish you a successful mission on your new role.

Le Secrétariat International de la CIJOC a le plaisir d'annoncer la nomination de son nouvel Aumônier international, le Père Christopher Sichinga.

Le Père Christopher Sichinga est titulaire d'une maîtrise en théologie pastorale. Il est administrateur financier et Aumônier de la jeunesse du diocèse de Mangochi (Malawi). Il a également été Aumônier régional pour l'Afrique de l'Est.

Il a été nommé par le Vatican, par l'intermédiaire du Dicastère pour les laïcs, la famille et la vie. Son mandat prend effet à partir de Juillet 2025 jusqu'à juillet 2029.

Félicitations Père, nous vous souhaitons plein succès dans vos nouvelles fonctions.

El Secretariado Internacional de la CIJOC se complace en anunciar el nombramiento de nuestro nuevo Capellán Internacional, el Rev. Padre Christopher Sichinga.

El P. Christopher Sichinga posee una maestría en Teología Pastoral. Es administrador financiero y capellán diocesano de la juventud en la diócesis de Mangochi (Malawi). También fue capellán regional de la JOC de África Oriental.

Fue nombrado por el Vaticano a través del Dicasterio para los Laicos, la Familia y la Vida. Su nombramiento entró en vigor de julio de 2025 a julio de 2029. Felicitaciones, Padre, le deseamos éxito en su nueva función.
