KINGDOM REALITIES : Hope in His everlasting Mercies
10. He delighteth not in the strength of a horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man,
11. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that Hope in His MERCY ( lovingkindness )
If you, in any challenging circumstances, particularly, in the event of confrontation, you demonstrate your personal might or power, take note that God doesn't take pleasure or joy in that act of trusting your power or might. And may not intervene and interfere
In verse 11, God concludes that He is pleased with those WHOSE HOPE IS IN HIS MERCY.
You know the greatest platform for our salvation is GOD'S MERCY. And God in his wisdom has displayed His Mercy to those in need.
Mercy is the very last optional but not least blessing to mankind. If you can't be answered in prayer you need God's mercy. If you can't be healed through any other available means, Mercy will heal you. Mercy comes in where all else has failed.
In John chapter 5v1, there's a story of a 38 year bed ridden man, his healing miracle is centered on God's Mercy.
If you have exhausted every other avenue for your situation to calm down or to be settled: you may have visited witch doctors, may be ministers of the gospel, may be medical doctors in case of infirmities, I encourage you to trust God for his everlasting mercies. He is Merciful. He is waiting for you to show that you trust His everlasting mercies.
