Realities of Life
The first reality of life is that no one ever progresses in life without overcoming obstacles because progress is primarily about overcoming obstacles. Every miracle or change of level entails that some obstacle has been melted. For instance, in order for the children of Israel to leave Egypt, they had to first overcome Pharaoh's resistance. When he was told that Israel needed to leave, he said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go” (Exodus 5:2). However, he eventually had to let Israel go when the Lord unleashed a series of plagues against Egypt.
The second reality of life is that every God ordained position in life will encounter opposition and every open door will attract adversaries. God has ordained great things for you but there is an enemy who will always oppose what God is doing in your life. Therefore, do not be surprised when you face battles in life. Those are attempts of darkness to stop your rising in life.
Apostle Paul said, “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries” (1 Corinthians 16:9). You see, the door was opened, yet, there were many adversaries. The good news is that there is no one who can shut the doors that God has opened (Revelation 3:8).
The third reality of life is that every attempt to move to the next level in life will be met with resistance. This is so because we are dealing with an enemy who never gives up easily without a fight. Therefore, refuse to be intimidated by the persistent stubbornness of the opposition. You must stand your ground knowing that God has promised to fight all battles. This time around, the enemies shall helplessly witness your rising to the topmost top (Revelation 11:12).
