What a week it’s been so far at the first EMC Camporee! 🏕️🔥
Between earning new honors, testing our strength on the obstacle courses, and navigating campsite life, it’s been equal parts challenging, hilarious, and inspiring. 🙂🙃
But above all, the highlight has been the brotherhood and sisterhood—connecting with old friends and making unforgettable new ones along the way. God is truly blessing this gathering.

Excitement is building as more than 500 Pathfinders and their leaders across the Eastern Malawi Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists Church head to Mulangeni Holiday Resort in Mangochiget for their inaugural camporee that will take place from today to Saturday.

The Pathfinder Camporee is one of the largest youth events on the Adventist Youth Ministries calendar. It brings together young people for a week of spiritual growth, worship, outdoor adventure, skills development, fellowship and service.

The event promises to be especially significant as participants explore the inspiring theme 'Stand Strong', with guest speaker Pastor Bongani Ndhlovu from Zimbabwe West Union Conference.

The event will be officially opened by Minister of Lands Chimwemwe Chipungu on Tuesday.

Eastern Malawi Conference Adventist Youth treasurer Joe Lipanda says the camporee will provide an intentional space where young people are affirmed, understood and encouraged.

“We also want to strengthen relationships across generations, foster meaningful conversations and remind every Pathfinder that they are deeply loved by God and His church,” he says.
